freezing uncooked lasagna

Sadly, my dinner guests for this evening will not be coming due to death in their family. I was in the midst of making lasagna when they called. Now I need to know if I can/should freeze the lasagna uncooked or should I cook it? (I would cook and take to them but they are going out of town for the funeral.)

I was going to freeze the lasagna uncooked, but my sister thought that because I put eggs in with the ricotta, I should cook before freezing. What say the Forum? Cook then freeze, or freeze then cook?

P.S. everything has been shoved in the fridge awaiting what is always very good advice from this group.
