I hope it's melted by the time I go to work on Tuesday. Anyone else getting snow? Anyone awake?

We've been getting it off and on all day in eastern KY. Nothing on the ground but came in squalls.

A few snowflakes here, too, in VA. It was almost 80 just four days ago!

Somehow Toronto missed the big storms that hit the US last week - I was sure we would get it when New York did. Last winter we had our biggest snow storm of the year the day spring break started - many people were stuck at the Toronto airport for 3 or 4 days - and to say that we received our heaviest snowfall says something because there was no where to put it. I am expecting a huge storm some time over the coming weeks - so far not in forecast, but it will happen. We have had too much snow this winter already.

Almost all of the snow gone by yesterday ... had a little last night. I was glad of it ... ... for when I'd moved the car out of the shed and returned to close the door ... there was a little brown trail from where it had stood out the door and through the snow. When I returned, I backed up ... and found a pool under where the engine had been standing. Rest of the story (no need to wait until tomorrow, next week, etc.) told on "What are you doing today" thread. I'm at the library, 15 min. walk from the garage where they're fixing the car. Hope you're all having a nice day. ole joyful

I was lazy so went to the small market in town and got soup from their deli. It was ham and bean but not very good. Way too salty and mostly broth. I fished out as many beans and veggies as I could, now I have a container of all ham broth. Which makes me think suddenly that I should have frozen it instead of letting it sit out all this time! oh well. Since I didn't eat much soup, I started to pick later. First an egg salad sandwich, then a bowl of ice cream. And I'm so thirsty from the ham/bean soup I'll be drinking water all night.

I walked past some bushes, many many carefully trimmed round things. I bet the guy who trims them is developing a bad back. I also heard that we will have a chance of snow on Tuesday along with another chance at 20F. The doctor said things went well.. I should say Doctors. He had an amazingly large slew of doctors, assistants , techs. They came in from the front , so they had 2 doctors to move the gut aside, a spine doctor, an implant team, anesthesiologist, and each doc had assistants. They also had a tec that stuck electrodes into his nerves system to monitor the spinal chord. The doctor for that was in San Antonio watching a screen while his pretty young tec did the on site work. WEIRD WORLD.. He is walking around tonight. They are making him wake up, get out of bed and walk down the hall every couple of hours tonight. He has gained an inch and is standing straighter than he has stood in years!!!! He also is not shuffling his feet when he walks.

It's snowing here in the Shenandoah Valley. They say we might get an inch. That's fine, since it will be gone quickly.

It is another beautiful sunny morning here in Mississippi. Just a little on the cool side.
Spring break starts for the schools next week, so I am sure we will have bad weather then.......

The weatherman hit it right this time. The forecast was for snow overnight. When I got up this morning about 7 o'clock it was completely white out. Radio guy says we have 2 inches. It is still coming down, but getting brighter outside. Next 3 days are supposed to be sunny with temps going up to 76 by Thursday.

We have pretty frost on the ground this morning and yesterday the 16" of snow at the stable where DD horse is was gone. Sun is shining brightly, not a cloud in the sky, but lots of rain predicted today. The last few days of 60+ temps were so wonderful.

We had a lot of snow here in SD. Tomorrow it is supposed to be in the 60's so most of it should be gone
