I didn't watch the show this season. I did "catch" the last 20 minutes or so of the "After the Final Rose" show tonight, though. Chris Harrison kept referring to the "rough times" they'd been going through -- what's up with that? The only thing I can figure out from the comments is that Emily had some severe issues watching the episodes as they aired week after week - seeing Brad (is that his name?) with the other girls. Was that it?

I figured Ashley would be the new bachelorette, thinking of some of the last ones and she stood out as the best one in my opinion as the best bachelorette.
Brad and Emily both have tempers and I think the watching the Monday night episodes were tough to watch. Emily said if Brad knew she was probably going to be the one, why wasn't she treated more special. I think she was though, remember one of the first shows where he brought a basket with a special cloth to sit on and I think something to drink, the other girls got jealous.
I hope they work things out. I really think Brad loves her deeply.

Part of the rough times were about Emily watching the shows and seeing how Brad interacted with the other girls, part of it was the tabloids saying things (I saw a headline the other day saying Emily made the dead boyfriend story up) and they have been doubting each other. They have a lot to deal with if they want this to work.

I could be wrong, but I thought Emily's sickening sugar sweet personality, kind of phony, all during the series. I wasn't too surprised when it came out in the After the rose program, that they both have a temper. They seem to love each other, but time will tell whether they get married or not. I do wish them well, but I'm not holding my breath for the nuptials.
