Don't these idiots know if it (the feelings) were real it wouldn't be so hard a decision? Did anyone else notice that this so called man who is looking for a wife called them girls throughout the show? One would think a divorced man would be looking for a woman for his next wife.

I agree with wildchild, that Vienna may indeed just be one of those girls who communicates better with men than women, which makes her a bone of contention among them. They particularly hate that Vienna is the only girl who will interrupt Jake's one on one time with anyone else, after she has already received a rose and can't possibly be eliminated that evening. Vienna is playing the game very offensively, by derailing any private time with Jake and other girls, so that they won't have an opportunity to get too personal with him. Clearly the girls see Vienna as being overly shrewd and agrressive, but she might be coming across to Jake as being a victim of a gang of mean girls. I suspect the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Jake seems like a genuinely sweet guy and I really hope he ends up finding the girl with "heart appeal" and it actually leads to a happily ever after for him.

I loved it except I wanted him to stay. Never been a fan of his but I thought he was great on the show. He is no dummy! I copied this from his bio: "Gene Simmons was born in Haifa, Israel, in 1949 and is the only child of his mother, a German Nazi concentration camp survivor. I figured Ashley would be the new bachelorette, thinking of some of the last ones and she stood out as the best one in my opinion as the best bachelorette. Brad and Emily both have tempers and I think the watching the Monday night episodes were tough to watch. Emily said if Brad knew she was probably going to be the one, why wasn't she treated more special. I think she was though, remember one of the first shows where he brought a basket with a special cloth to sit on and I think something to drink, the other girls got jealous. I hope they work things out. I really think Brad loves her deeply.

I've been watching too, although I said I wouldn't cause I didn't like Ali. The guys all seem so nice and likable though... but from what I just read on Reality Steve's site I think I've been fooled. lol I really like both Frank and Chris. Was anybody else annoyed by how many times Ty said "Thank you" to Ali on the date? There is such a thing as being 'too polite' IMO.

I'm beginning to think the whole show is far, from reality. I think it is all planned and scripted. IF it is "real", then this man is in it for the chase and conquest. Once he got Melissa, then he wants someone else. Makes one wonder why his marriage broke up. I get so angry with myself for watching. Alas. Dottie

Despite the fact that they all know what they are in for when they sign up for the show, don't you just feel a bit bad for Melissa? I thought it was interesting that she said this is the 4th time in her life she has been dumped, wonder what the problem is...I feel bad for her though as he obviously has no ability to work through a problem. Maybe she's better off. Did y'all notice that little hmmm noise she was making all through the conversation?
And Molly - who would want to be chosen second? I can't imagine getting dumped and then saying yes after the fact when he comes back and says he's made a mistake.
I don't think it will work out with Molly either as she didn't seem to have the rapport with Ty that Melissa did.
But I truly do feel bad for Melissa, I'm sure she feels her heart is broken forever.

Yes, I think two of the couples have married, one set has a son and another baby on the way.

I think Jason is a wuse. Did you notice how many times Molly talked about their last night together? Wonder if he had sex with her and that is why she can't quite understand why he didn't pick her.

For the most part I thought Jason was a jerk and when he called Melissa and Molly girls I thought he was too immature to make a lasting decision.
I have come to the conclusion I will no longer watch the Bachelor or The upcoming Bachelorette. I was hoping Jillian would have more self respect.
