Can you help me? I just can't find it, grrr!

It's so frustrating when I can't find what's in my head. I want a sofa pair or sofa and love seat or a sectional with these lines and especially important is the slope of the track arm. I want it in a warm cream Not White Not Beige. In my local store I found this Natuzzi. I have read bad things about the brand but ontop of it all it takes over half a year to get it in the color I want. Or, I have found things close but either not the exact arm or the back is over 36" tall. Has anyone seen anything like the style and in LEATHER? {{!gwi}}

It looks very nice. But want to tell you my experience.......I have a love seat Natuzzi in navy leather. The leather wears well but the two cushions on the seat are sagging where they come together in the middle....and the whole thing is not comfortable...I need to put a pillow in the "crack" to be comfortable..

Thanks for the info gran! Actually I have read many similar complaints so that is why I have decided against the brand. I'm just having a heck of a time finding the same or close to the same style in a color I want and something without an over 36" h back.

I am like Jan - can't stand clutter, even if it's behind the closed doors of a closet. Just too distracting for me. Unfortunately, my seemingly "raised in a barn" children don't seem to have inherited this gene :-) DH just took all three kids to visit his family during spring break two weeks ago. I had four days with the house all to myself and cleared out a ton of stuff, then reorganized quite a few spaces. You just seem to accumulate so much with kids in the house! When I was all done, I felt like I could breathe again! I had about 5 big garbage bags of stuff to dump, then filled up the back of my SUV with dontations for Goodwill. We have a drive-thru donation center nearby so it was pretty easy to have them take it all off my hands. I agree with the others who said this has been a great way to evaluate potential new purchases - every time I've been shopping in the last couple of weeks, I've really stopped to think about whether I absolutely need and/or love it. I've passed up or returned quite a few things lately! Still need to tackle the unfinished storage area in our basement. The main source of clutter there? Paint cans! I was truly embarassed to see how many partially-used gallons of paint I've piled up due to my eternal search for the "perfect" colors. I can't even tell you how many golds or warm yellows I have. Next step is to whittle them down to the colors we currently have on the walls and dry up/ dump the rest.

may_flowers and sprtphntc - I seldom buy either. I have been buying and looking at a few things lately. Both my mother and my MIL downsized this year and I got a few small pottery pieces from each of them. I wanted to display them but none of them really went together and so I was looking for other pieces to set them off so I was prowling consignment stores and antique stores. So much of it was pretty but not suitable, but when a piece "spoke" to me and I thought "yes, you will set off and add to my enjoyment of my great-grandmothers water pitcher", that's when I bought something. palimpset - exactly. I agree with you. I too prowl real estate listings (used to frighten my DH) but I don't want a new house. Appreciating things does not mean having to own them. mudhouse - oh I really like that imagery of "stocking the visual library in our minds". I'm going to use that line on my DH the next time a situation arises. Then watch him try to figure what I'm saying - he won't get it, poor guy. romy718 - Perhaps like your daughter, I just want to convey my joy in seeing something that I think is, for me, pretty. I don't expect the person that I'm with to agree with me because I do know that we all have different tastes and different definitions as to what is visually pleasing. I guess I just want them to see my joy in seeing something that I find to be pretty and I want to share that - not to buy but just to stop, take a minute and enjoy looking.. Oh, and to be clear that doesn't actually happen all that often. And kevinmark - you're right ,not every gorgeous accessory is meant to buy. I suspect that if one did that the joy of owning pretty things that one found joy in would somehow be diminished over time. For me anyway.

Yes, all our recycling has to be clean, and because containers have a tendency to "nest" in the recycling bin, I need the stuff dry before I throw it in there, to avoid mold etc, as recycling is only picked up every two weeks. We recycle and compost more than we trash these days. Good, but requires more logistical organization than the old kitchen provided. I don't think you can underestimate the amount of yogurt three girls go through :-) beth09 I saw it at BB&B, but ended up buying it at Homesense for $30 CDN. It does pay to shop around - I got my kitchen sink half price on Amazon during a flash sale! sjhockeyfan - thanks for the tip - true we do use powdered detergent hmmm....

If you happen to live in the SF Bay Area, you could check with Furniture Envy. I had good luck with them making a custom chaise for me based on photos. The price was reasonable (in line with Pottery Barn, for example). I have had mine for about six months now and have no complaints.

How about Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams. I don't own any of their furniture, but they have received good reviews from several posters here recently.

Crispa, I love just about everything on their site Ã¢ÂÂperfectÃ¢ÂÂ. Plus, I can get different sizes which is a plus. Now if someone would bother to get back to me in regards to my inquiries IÃ¢ÂÂd be good to go. WhatÃ¢ÂÂs up with people anyway? DonÃ¢ÂÂt they want to make money? IÃ¢ÂÂm just a wee bit busy, finished interior design utilizing much of whatÃ¢ÂÂs there but meeting with an architect for master closet/bathroom/small addition plan, paint colors picked and IÃ¢ÂÂm about 70% done with interior painting (yes me). In the meantime IÃ¢ÂÂm designing the exterior landscape and sub-contracting old nasty landscape removal. Husband is being difficult on the new furniture gig but I feel I deserve it. The Mitchell Gold Bob Williams seems fairly reasonable for what you get.
Thank you everyone for your advice! There were other brands in the running but NO communication and I have no time for that. Hopefully a Mitch and Bob dealer will come through.
