Can someone please e-mail me and let me know who went home? I had it dvr'd sorta, had paused it at the beginning so I could fast forward through all the commercials, well...when it got to the rose ceremony it switched channels on me. I really hate when that happens. Missed the whole thing.

Corrie went home. She told Jake she was a virgin and that she would wait for marriage. Of course he said he respected her for that. In the long run he said something was missing and so she went home.

He gave Tenley the first rose, Allie got the second rose, and Gia got the third rose. Tension was mounting with everyone wondering who would get the final rose of the evening - Corrie or Vienna.

During their one-on-one date, Jake said (to the camera) that he felt Corrie wasn't opening up - that she was holding back and he didn't know why. So, during their "ask me anything" moments, Jake asked Corrie about how she'd be with living with a guy before marriage. She said that, no, she wouldn't do that; that she feels it should wait until marriage because "it's part of the gift of marriage." So Jake asked, "are you saving yourself for marriage?" and she replied that, yes, she is. Jake said to her (and to the camera again later) that he totally respects that, that they have similar values.

Jake gave this evening's final rose to Vienna. But he did say that Corrie's virginity, per se, is not why he sent her home. He sent her home because he felt that she hadn't opened up enough early enough -- that he hadn't gotten to know her as well as the other girls.

Her virginity undoubtedly played a large part in Corrie's failure to open up, because as she said, she's just not into dating guys who are dating several other girls at the same time.

Thank you all so much,Lucy that is why I came here for the support and love that this extended family always has.I can count on you all being here. Amelia pepper lady-I have a brace with metal on the top and bottom of the wrist to keep it in place,no surgery Thank Goodness.It is one of the small bones,and just cracked,so they think just the brace for a few weeks and I will be fine,and you are right I have a hard time not doing,I am always doing something,I don't even have my Christmas tree up,we might have to do with Christmas dishes and a decorated table this year. Daniella Thanks keep those prayers coming because I think that is what's keeping me going. Mom2emall-- I've been in roughly similar situations with my Dad & SM. Not exactly the same circumstances as yours, but similar in the way you just alluded to, in that if you're not careful, it gets turned around on YOU, like it's YOUR fault or YOUR decision or YOU taking time away from THEM because they didn't want to deal with the issue directly; and you either get blamed and/or wind up losing out on quality times with the kids just the same. With my dad & SM, THEY didn't really want me to visit for Christmas (of course, I wanted to, been visiting for Christmas every year since I was a child, and my dad has terminal lung cancer; but SM wanted her sister and brother-in-law there, like, INSTEAD of me.) But nobody would just freaking come out and TELL me this until less than a month before Christmas. (We all know that with anything involving air travel at Christmas, the rates are over-the-top, if you can even get a ticket, starting six wks before the holidays.) For months I sat around not knowing why he was dragging his feet about setting our usual travel dates This decision on their part was so hurtful and felt like such abandonment, and I definitely wanted and needed to be with family. That period of time is also the only time period that I can get almost two weeks of holiday time at my job, time that I decided, in these circumstances, would be best spent visiting my mom (who also lives way out of state and whom I don't get much chance to visit) if he didn't want me, she most certainly would. To get to the gist of this story: I knew (based on how SM operates) that even though SHE was the one who didn't want me there, and HE was not facing the issue (out of fear of confontation, I guess), I knew that she would find a way to turn it on me and act like it was somehow MY WISH to not be there on what tragically could very well have been his last Christmas on earth. Probably BECAUSE it was such a crappy thing to do, it had to be rationalized. Couldn't possibly be HER pettiness, just like with your kids' BM it couldn't possibly be HER negligence.... no, it's gotta be YOUR fault. So that's how this past Christmas has been re-framed. Because I DID go to see my mom intead, once I found out I wasn't wanted at my Dad's, it became: "Serenity decided to go to her mom's this year instead." Which has a certain ring to it, as vs. "WE decided we didn't want Serenity here." Big difference. Very face-saving. I say make your plans because it sounds like BM is dragging her feet b/c she doesn't want to make plans anyway. But don't let her turn it around on YOU, which she, like you alluded to, could do if you gave her NO indications ("why did you make plans without consulting me? I guess they didn't WANT to come visit here..."). YES, she should be proactively making her plans without reminders, like a grown person. But for the sake of civility and preventing her from turning the situation around, you need to set the date, like, "we have to know by this Friday what the plan is." Then it's on HER to step on on Friday with a plan or not, and if she doesn't, she is obviously the one who bears responsibility for the lack of a visit. I did that with my dad and that's the only way I got him to cough up a clear statement of what had been decided. Otherwise, I would have been still sitting around waiting, with no other plan for that holiday time but sitting in the proverbial "corner" to reflect upon what I "must have done" to "deserve" banishment from Christmas this year.

"Fast forward a few days and I see forms set up for at least 7 houses and no attempt to excavate our yard or anything" Things come up. A FEW DAYS is not really that long for them to get to your house. They are not your PRIVATE construction company working on just your house. They are working on a subdivision concurrently. Even houses that are already built often don't close by the time you thought you would. Have a bit of patience, knowing that it will done right in the end. And you will be surprised at how fast the finishing touches happen more toward the closing date.

So I decided to do 3 drawers on each side of the range, and also drawers towards the peninsula (right next to dishwasher). I had to make the cab next to it go from 15 to 18 and the 24 to left of peninsula became a 21 and is now a stack of 3 drawers (same height as ones by range to keep horizontal alignment - since my kitchen, though a good size, is not ginormous, this matters to me as asymmetry is harder to "hide"). I understand why everyone says "no seating on prep side," I really do, but my neighbor did it, and it seemed to work out just fine. Yes, the cabs beneath the peninsula are only 15" deep, but I have a ton of storage on the fridge wall with two pantries, so I'll just put seldomly used crap beneath peninsula and in that corner (where window wall meets peninsula). Would've been nice to have 3 24" drawers, but now I have 2 stacks of 15" drawers, 1 shallow 18" drawer near range (above garbage), a stack of 3 21" drawers, and a stack of 4 30" drawers (2 are pretty deep) on fridge wall. So overall I think I'm pretty good with drawers. The only lower cabs I really have are beneath the sink (cleaning supplies for me), and beneath peninsula and at that corner (but those are 15" deep only). Tons of storage for taller items above both pantries, above wall speed oven, and above fridge even. Not to mention I can always "borrow" from one pantry and put stuff like a blender in there if nowhere else to put it. I'm still such a novice cook and dont have a lot of gear, but I think I pulled it off as best I could while being true to what I want. My current kitchen has that peninsula as an actual table that's more in the kitchen with chairs on both sides. By pushing it out I get a bigger kitchen overall, but didnt want to give up seating on both sides.

Did you see in the next weeks clip him opening the door for someone then bent over the balcony crying..their saying no rose would be give out this week?

What is up? Did a former love of his come back to him??

I heard that Allie walks off the show giving the reason that Jake keeps choosing Vienna. Allie said that she & Vienna are nothing alike, so if he has an interest in Vienna, there would not be a possible way for him to like her. Maybe no rose is given out because Allie leaves on her own good will?

Last nightÂs episode made me realize that they are really supposed to get married. I know thatÂs what the whole show is about, blah blah, but the seriousness of who is going to live where? He does live in Texas and none of the girls do. I know Jake asked Corrie about living together before marriage, which makes sense to me. (In Jakes situation) Has he really gained enough knowledge about these women in the few short dates to decide spending the rest of their lives together? Plus, it would be a long distance relationship until the girl moved to TexasÂ.(and started a new job and life)

After reading reality steve and knowing how this whole things ends, I look at jake in another way. He obviously really doesn't want to get married if he really does choose the girl RS says he does. She is totally wrong for him, and I would bet 1000% that they don't get married.

Yeah, I've been wondering what the big deal is about Jake wanting whatever girl he chooses to move to Texas. If he's a commercial pilot, he can live anywhere - so long as he's within a reasonable driving distance to an airport. If he is really in love with a girl and she has a great job somewhere else, why can't HE move to where SHE lives?

Seems I found out the answer by reading Reality Steve's column today (I love his stuff). According to Steve, yes, Jake is a pilot, but that's not his regular full-time job. He owns a limo company! Not as easy to relocate that to another state...
