Whole Wheat Flour substitution

I've just started to substitute AP flour with white whole wheat flour in baked goods. I made lindac's sweet potato muffins...they were wonderful and very addicting!

I'm not sure why I chose white WW over regular WW, but I've been wondering if there is any noticable difference between them. Nutrition? Carb count? Texture? Taste?
