How to hang curtains in asymmetrical corner windows?
Comments (5)If the rod finials are the problem, you can use medallions instead to hang the curtain off of....and drape each side to the corner with a tie back. [Traditional Living Room[(https://www.houzz.com/photos/traditional-living-room-ideas-phbr1-bp~t_718~s_2107) Only thing is, in the right corner, if that's a security or safety device, it may have to be moved ... most likely you can't have a curtain covering it. Or if you were planning on hanging the rod at the upper mullion instead of above the window trim, then a rod that turns the corner...See MoreGive me old age over pot size!
Comments (7)I was saying on another thread that my favorite local nursery, Edwards, has switched over to mostly own root Austins, and those plants are just as huge as the grafted ones. They certainly fill their five gallon containers and have many buds and sometimes are blooming just like the grafted ones. Their cost is no more than ordering a rose. Of course, that is a local business, and I wouldn't expect online sellers to send such large plants, but I think the online plants could be a little bigger, if they are touted as two gallon plants and only the pot is that size. I don't buy roses from the big box stores, so I don't know what they're up to. I gave up on the lousy selection they seem to have in this area, and am jealous of the places that have some great sounding plants at the big box stores. Comments (20)Jij, Maybe sometimes, but I know I don't always pull up my scatter rugs to clean underneath as often as I should, and often find grit underneath. It's interesting as I don't have pads under any, and never ever are shoes worn in the house. I appreciate that I can throughly clean under my rugs. Also, I've had both and now I like only hard surfaces under beds because too much dust can accumulate very quickly. After vacuuming and or dust mopping hard surfaces, I can see that it is clean if I want to look. Editing to add: I don't want to give the impression that I rarely move and clean under my few small rugs and that I find piles of crap under them, LOL!...See Morecurious Kitchen Table question: ages
Comments (95)I've been told that I sound younger on the phone, but I think that's because people think I sound silly. I also think that is why they laugh at me a lot. I live with my brother who is 15 years younger, and we have often been asked whether we are twins, which is rather insulting to my brother. He really hates it if they go on to ask which one of us is older. However, he is a redhead, and those often do not age well. He has also always acted mature for his age, whereas I never did....See MoreVertise
