I have not been on much this last week as I had to work longer then usual....I pray Alan is doing fine and God is taking care of the family.....Stacy

Thank you for thinking of him. He is still here with us..just sleeps alot and they have to keep him on his morphine for his pain. My sister called last night and said a few days ago he did want to sit up a little and he wanted chili cheese fries! They got him some and he ate them, took along time but he ate! He asked his dad how long it's been since he ate anything and he told him about 5 weeks. He didn't seem to remember what is happening to him either...which may be a good thing. Other than that he just sleeps...still bleeding internally. His wife sits by his side all the time in case he does wake up and wants her there. Hospice comes out alot too to attend to his needs. They are really good about anything they need for themselves or Alan.

Continued prayers for Alan and his entire family. I'm glad he's comfortable. Also that he is at home where his loved ones can be with him any time.

I just got to read the answer. That's great he wanted something to eat that he obviously loves. I hope you got to go visit as you said you were going to a few weeks back. Y'all are still on my prayer list.

I haven't been to see him. He hasn't wanted any visitors for some time. Another one of my neices went to see him anyway today and she said he got in a wheelchair and they got him outside for the first time in a month and a half. He had a beer and a cigarette! I guess he wants to go out enjoying what he enjoys! I was really surprised to hear that he got up at all. My sister had sent me the wedding pictures and it really bothered me to see them, but I was glad to have them at the same time. It just disturbed me to see him so lifeless in bed like that. Ihad such mixed emnotions about the pictures...but happy to have them. She didn't think he'd last through that first week home. He is very strong willed, always has been. Maybe this is his last fight and he is going to give it all he's got.

Thank you all.....yesterday was his 26th birthday. My neice told me he really wanted to get up and in his wheelchair and get out of the bedroom really bad. They got him up and he wanted to go outside for awhile too. He has always loved my sister's, his grandma's homemade tacos and ate 3 of them. He was up for quite awhile they said. I'm sure it took alot out of him, he's so weak. He was determined to enjoy his birthday though! I just got pictures from my sister tonight...it was good to see him out of his bed!
