My Dear Sweet Micki I haven't been on the Forum lately but tonight I couldn't sleep so I got on to see what everyone is up to. I always go to Conversations first, when I started reading your post I got so scared for you, immediately said a prayer while I read the posts than the Good News. I know going thru Radiation again is difficult but the fact that your doctors checked again and got the results almost immediately is awesome. Everyone has posted just what I feel about you and how much you mean to me for all you did for me. My "Healing Tree" is still up and I will never take it down. It is to remind me that God is Good and that you are my Special Angel. And each ornament was made with a prayer for my recovery by my fellow "Junkee" Angels. How blessed we are to have such friends. Well, I meant the specific cabinet maker's standard cabinets I was looking at...not in general. I was pricing at their site, and they were transparent about everything else. but they just gave "3 drawer cabinet" no info on drawer size. I went to another site and saw the same thing (which started my journey to here lol). They just need to be upfront and clear about everything. I do not mind paying more for something I want or a better quality. On the other hand, if I was looking just to cheaply do something, I wouldn't worry about the size of drawers or whether it was mdf or not-it would just be about the bottom line only. The people who wouldn't mind paying more are the ones they really need to target. Since the price can vary so much, from a few thousand to tens of thousands, I would assume shoppers would like to have a better estimate-not just "anywhere from 2k to 200k depending on what you want and room size"... I want an estimate within hundreds or 1k at most. I don't look at expensive sports cars, because I know I cannot afford them. I will look at different models in my price range. Then if I see something that is just what I want, I will sacrifice to get it, even if it's a little more than I originally wanted to pay. If money was not an obstacle, or I had to have one at whatever cost (even if I needed to get a loan), then I just stroll into any dealer's business. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that they will get more business if they are transparent with it all. Give all dimensions, price, and materials in a clear, user-friendly website for their basic lines. Get shoppers to see that they can afford it and get what they want. Then be available to talk with them when they're ready to finalize things. Then the salesmen can point out any problems and offer solutions. They could also use this opportunity to then point out how little extra it would be upgrade this or that. I do about 90% of my shopping or preliminary price-checking online. They're loosing business by not bringing in customers thru their website....in my opinion anyway...

I have "filler" pullouts in 6" spaces flanking my cooktop - full-height. It breaks up the look a bit. At first I was disappointed that I could not get the same look I have with my doors (b/c the space was too narrow to have 3" frame on the door, but once they were in I liked the look. (Filler pullouts utilize the entire width of the space with no cabinet walls. They are attached to the walls of the adjacent cabinets. They must be installed when the other cabinets are installed before the counters go in, not later.) They have one glide on top and one on the bottom (but, they're for a 6" space, not 9"). The shelves in my pullouts are not adjustable...I recommend getting ones that are adjustable. I store all kinds of things in mine...I just put the items I seldom use on the bottom shelf b/c you do have lean over to see into that shelf a bit, but you certainly do not have to get on your knees! Since it's open on both sides it's pretty easy to see everything by just taking a step back and looking down. Same old message I got. When I pushed the issue after that response [telling them I was an IT person, had tried 5 different browsers including chrome], they just gave me a song and a dance. When I pushed further, they claimed they were working on the issue, which was a couple of month ago. Thru external sources, I next got the name and contact info for one of their actual IT guys. I messaged him thru that source [Linked-In] but he never replied. I found another name there but had no way to contact him. It looks to me like they don't care and are not going to do anything to help.
