Shaker Beige is an easy match in SW. SB in SW can come out with a green undertone depending on how it's mixed - what colorants are used when they mix it. There's more than one combo of SW colorants that will produce a Shaker Beige "match". It's true for just about any color - there's more one way to mix a "match". Tell your painter, tell the paint store you do not want any lean to green whatsoever in your Shaker Beige. A good tinter at the store will know exactly what to do. It's always a good idea to have a test quart made - same brand, grade and sheen as the gallons you intend to buy.

I tried a sample of the delaware putty in my north facing LR. Looked like chicken poop :) BUT it could look great in your kitchen. It's a very nice neutral. It look very peachy flesh colored in my house. I laughed at your list. Sounds like mine. I've tried so many colors....Maybe I should send you all my left over sample jars and you send me yours and we can double our efforts! :)

You know, if you work with Aura colors, the initial PR on them was that they share a particular tone (iirc it's something about the kind of colorant, but someone like funcolors would know more about that) which coordinates them such that they'll all work with each other, supposedly. The game was to pick any three colors from the deck and you'd be able to make a look with them. That's why they were called "Affinity" colors. You might want to look for tones you like in that set of colors and know that they're 'scientifically' designed to be able to play well together. Hope this maybe helps you become less dazed and confused...

My favorite is Edgecomb Grey. I painted both of my children's room's this color. It looks fab with pink accents and black furniture in my daughter's room, and equally terrific with navy and red in my son's room. Also love Stonington Grey, which is in my bedroom. Grey Wisp is another great color. Have it in the office and powder room. Hmmm...i think I like grey! Just realized that every room that I've painted in this house has been some shade of grey.! Kitchen is next. On the table is revere pewter and Harbor Grey. Of course.
