I made a pizza for one.

Still cold here with lots of rain.

I made a big pot of chili today for hubby. I had sausage links & home fries

I made a salad and we're having leftover Southwestern sloppy joes from last night. Yea for leftovers! I think we'll have enough for one more meal, which is fine by me, since I'm very tired tonight.

Had a lot on my mind from work and couldn't sleep last night. So I was up, remotely logged in to my computer at the office and working by 3am. I got a several reports done and that allowed me to focus on and finish some other things today.

We're predicted to possibly get a "wintery mix" tonight or tomorrow. I hope not too much. I'm ready for this weather to go away!

It was another cold day and colder tonight. I have been sewing off and on today. My supper was some of my veggie beef soup and milk.

Breakfast was my meal tonight: ham, eggs, fried potatoes. It tasted so good that I overate.

Kittiemom: You brought back memories of when I was remotely logged in at work. I could even send commands to the printer to print out reports. So glad I'm retired.

It was a great day. Sunny and in the low 70's. But the best part was eating a whole dinner. Yes, my friends, for the first time since-- I think it was September. I had meat loaf, gruyere potatoes and broccoli. The meat loaf and potatoes I'd made and sealed and pulled from the freezer. I also had 2 apples so I peeled and sliced them this morning and put them in the little crockpot with some brown sugar, raisins, and cinnamon sugar. Too full to try them tonight.

Yesterday I was going to make vegetable soup and put a roast in the crockpot. Later, Harry's daughter called and we talked so long I forgot to check it. By the time I tried to take it out, it was instant pulled beef. It literally fell apart. So today I made a slurry of flour and water, added it to the meat and broth along with some onion I already had chopped, some fresh parsley I needed to use and a little Kitchen Bouquet for a nice color. Now I have three bags of that stuff in the freezer (so much for cleaning it out) that I can thaw and have with mashed potatoes, rice or just on plain bread. I love bread and gravy. I also kept a little out for dinner tomorrow or Wednesday.

My mouth is a little sore, but my tummy is happy!

Been saving my appetite for our favorite Mexican restaurant today. Hubby got called out to work (plowing snow) right before I got home from work. No dinner for me tonight. He can heat up venison stew when he gets home.

Oh, Patti, it's so good to hear that you had a real meal. HURRAY!!! I left home at 9:15 this morning to play bridge and have lunch. Afterward, I ran some errands. T.. Maxx, grocery store, Walmart, Home Goods, Marshall's, back to T.J. Maxx and didn't get home until 5:15. So glad we had leftover meatloaf and mashed potatoes. At least I didn't have to worry about dinner. Before I left this morning I stripped the bed, washed the sheets and now I have to make the bed. That's it for today.

Patti, that is wonderful news!!!! I'm so happy for you, and your tummy must be ecstatic! LOL

Pizza, chili, meatloaf, beef soup, ham and eggs and Southwestern sloppy joes......everyone is having comfort food at it's best!!! Kittie, what makes the sloppy joes Southwestern? Corn, black beans, taco seasoning? I'm running out of ideas what it might be.

Patti, your news makes me want to celebrate. I'll bet that meatloaf tasted amazing.

We just had spaghetti and meatballs and a crunchy salad. It sure did smell good all afternoon.

Left over vegetable soup, a roll and a glass of wine. I ate better at lunch today.

A great salad and some green chile chicken with rice.
