Peeps--any color, but am cutting down on all sweets

PEEPS !!!
Must be pink or yellow flat bunnies - and very stale.

Peeps for me, as well.

But I love the commercial for the Cadbury eggs where various animals audition by clucking like a chicken. The lion gets me laughing every time.

Dark chocolate Marshmallow bunnies!!!!

Russell Stover's Chocolate covered marshmallow eggs. No other brand comes close to chocolate marshmallow eggs.

Robin's Eggs... those bright blue coated malted milk balls

There's some egg shaped candies that have a cream filling, maple and raspberry are preferred, but last time I got some they had changed to a whipped filling and they're just not the same. So, assuming I can't get them I like the Reese's peanut butter eggs. Somehow they seem smoother than the cups.

Jelly beans--with plenty of black ones mixed in. Also, Russell Stover whipped strawberry or maple eggs. Shoot, I love candy. Bring it on!

I love Peeps--especially when they are stale. But my favorite candy of all is jelly beans!!!

Cadbury mini eggs. I buy a couple of packages and freeze them. Hopefully by the time I find them in the freezer, it's summer.

If I'm going to eat candy at Easter time...PEEPS, any color, any shape. DH hates them but I always make sure he has a package in his basket! hehe

Cadbury Cream Eggs. You have to buy them early around here. They sell out if you wait too close to Easter.

medici almonds...i usually do not get them because i can eat the whole package in no time lol. i love them sooo much i've been checking williams-sonoma's site since valentine's looking to see if they are avail yet lol... ~ liz

Oh, Peeps and jelly beans here. Remember when one only got Peeps at Easter? Now every holiday has them. I'm just finishing up my Valentine candy hearts and looking forward to Easter goodies!

Good Chocolate

Cadbury cream eggs. The large or small, and the caramilk eggs as well. I like the small cadbury mini-eggs that have the candy coating as well, but I can only eat a few.

We never had peeps here as kids, but learned about them as an adult. And they have to be CRUNCHY stale. Fresh marshmallow is for roasting over a fire.

In general I don't like easter bunny chocolate. When I was a kid I would bite off the ears, nose, and tail then give the rest to a sibling. Or maybe my parents ate the "bodies".

I never connect Easter with candy. When I think of Easter, I think of Easter lilys.

On our way home from doggy class this evening I ask the question, Cheryl said Peeps, Amber said chocolate, and Mike said he and Kevin like the chocolate bunnies. Then he said since he is on a diet he would have to have the hollow ones. Amber told him he could only eat the insides! Ha, ha.

When I was very young my sister worked in a candy store and she often brought home candies. She also brought Jordan almonds, and I loved them. I had not thought of them for years, and about a week ago I was thinking about them and wishing I had some. I can still remember that sweet crisp bite, or sometimes just holding them in my mouth until the shell melted off and then the real treat. Gotta find some.

krackel coconut eggs,peanut butter preferably homemade,white chochlate.

sue they are basically jordan almonds but they are coated thickly, the largest whole almonds i've ever seen and have a sweet but not overly sweet taste. the coating is soo thick you do not want to chew these things w/o letting some of the coating soften, you would break teeth for sure lol. ~ liz

bigfoot_liz, Bigger and thicker coating? Wow! Sounds great, but after just having many, many $$$ worth of dental work, I guess I'll have to bypass those.

I'm another that likes Peeps or Bunnies Stale!!!

We have a local store that makes 'pigs'. Years ago we had a department store that made them, when they closed the mould and recipe went to O'Sheas. It is a pig shaped piece of coconut creme dipped in heavenly dark chocolate....it's my childhood!

it would have to be spiced jelly beans especially the black ones. I absolutely hate cadbury eggs. When my niece was in Iraq everybody sent her peeps because she hates them.

Chocolate dipped marshmellow peeps! A few years ago I decided to add peeps to the tray of goodies I had arranged for dipping for my chocolate fountain and turns out they were a hit. It was the best of both worlds!!
