Prayers for my son in law please

This is the one who at 52 had a major stroke, is partially paralyzed and now has to have surgery to remove his gall bladder.He had a shunt in his brain so the surgeon has to be very careful. I did not know any infection that goes into the stomach goes up the shunt right to the brain. That is why they have to remove his gall bladder as there is some stuff the Dr. does not like the looks of.
Just keep him in your prayers.

The funeral was this morning. It was beautiful, & it was the most heartbreaking thing I ever saw. Beautiful church, with beautiful flowers in tiers upon tiers, filling the entire end of the sanctuary where the pulpit was.. & 4 caskets, 1 just about half the size of the others. 3 ministers, 4 eulogies, 1 for a 6-year-old & 1 for a 3-year-old. What can you say in a eulogy for a first-grader? for a toddler? They said Michael was smart as a whip & loved the water & asked pointed questions & never met a stranger. They said little Landon was born in perpetual motion & brought a smile to every face. & Landon, a surprise baby, may have saved his mother's life: Had she not had a sonogram, the cancer that was growing inside her might not have been discovered until too late. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts, prayers, & good wishes. It means a lot to me & to my family.

Lets hope that it was an older, experienced snake. A strike by a young snake that has gained near adult size is the most dangerous. The young inexperienced viper may inject the whole load whereas the older experienced snake may inject only what it preceives is enough while holding back more venon for later strikes. This may explain the differences of reaction to viper bites of the same species. It has been my experience with copper heads that they are mean snakes. When approached they do not slink away and hide, but stand their ground. If you don't see it, you may not get much warning, and they will strike with little provocation. A close approach is all that is needed.

I have been keeping him in my prayers and will continue to do so, Marie.

FYI, any artificial part in your body, ie, knee or hip replacement, ect. has the same problem. Those I personally know who have had hip or knee replacements even have to be on antibiotics for a week before any dental work, even a cleaning, because if they get an infection from it, it will go directly to the replaced joint.
