Leftover potato chowder for us tonight. Always better the second day, right?

Chicken and stovetop stuffing, baked potato, green beans.

And yes, a lot of soups, stews, etc often taste better the second day.

I had a nice lunch today at Bob Evan's. Half pot roast sandwich and a cup of tomato basil soup. Probably won't eat much this evening, possibly a ham sandwich and the iced tea I brought with me.

poor dh! he got frozen pizza...i nibbled on the crust (minus meat) to see if it would sit ok...so far so good! we usually are salad, veggie every night eaters, but that seem to be the last thing either of us wants for now... maybe a good thing..go to dr on monday and hope i lost a lb or 2, lol...

I hope you like it Phyllis. I never thought of adding the vegetables to it, but it sure is a good idea. Glenda, I'm ready to move into that assisted living home. Lunch sounds delicious! My SonIL's grandparents live in an assisted living place in Largo and my daughter really wants to move in. I think she has a few years to go. :-)

I am not fixing supper again tonight, so I had a peanut butter sandwich, a glass of milk and a glass of V-8 juice and will have some hot tea before I leave my kitchen. I asked my husband what he wanted for supper and he said nothing, he just wanted pie, so pie it is for him! Sue
