I love greens, but with the red so hot in the bedding, I am not sure I would want green. The bedding is very pretty, by the way! I know this is going to seem bizarre, but have you considered an aqua, as we seem to see in the center of the pointy leaves in the closeup of the bedding? I think it might cool down the room, and would certainly show off the dark furniture as well. I think it would work with the Whole Wheat, tho I am kind of puzzled about the issue of working with it. At different times of the day, from different angles, in different light, those colors will never look the same, and at times will perhaps seem more suited than at others. But no one that I can think of would stand in the hallway and expect the bedroom to flow with a public space. That is part of the delight of bedrooms and baths - places to choose color and decor different from the public spaces, that are more personal and perhaps a little more daring. I think your bed looks pretty, but I would try to find a place to store your sleeping pillows during the day when the bed is made - they don't go with the look of the finished bed, and kind of spoil the view from the side. Maybe you can tuck them on the floor of the closet? Also wondering if the valances on the windows are on a separate rod, so that you could raise the valances up higher to open the window space and take the eye up above the top of the bedposts.

I painted my powder room in SW Jogging Path. It is soooo pretty (to me, anyway). I put beadboard wallpaper to chair rail height and painted the green above. It's just a really soft color. I will tell you, though, that I'm not sure how/why I chose it; it's not that amazing on the fan deck. Another thing to consider, too, is that my bathroom has no windows and the bright white beadboard may affect the green color. I said all that to say that while I love it, your mileage may vary depending on lighting, etc. in your room. I'm considering SW Collonade Gray for my master bath. It's a sort of grayish green. Thanks everyone!! This forum is great! I stopped at a store that sells BM today and picked up these swatches and keep going back and forth. Now I'll analyze them again and again in the light tomorrow!! I will post pic once i decide. I never expected this to be so hard! Do you think the color will go ok with my bedding okay? Yes, debelli, the light does play on the colors a lot in these pics. That's what's making this so difficult. I like the colors how they look in both pics so i don't want to get it wrong. I think the second pic of the foyer looks like it might be close.

@funcolors Curious why you don't trust the colors the designer specified? That's a good question, one that my husband is asking me as well. I told her I wanted a light airy kitchen that wasn't stark white but had the overall appearance and feel of a white kitchen. She went to the stone yard and looked at my exact slabs, had all my inspiration pics, house layout, pictures etc - probably 2 dozen in all. She said the color was selected because it 1) coordinated and 2) had the warmth and depth to handle a large room with a northern exposure. Also I mentioned I didn't like the vast contrast between a gray counter top and stark white cabinets. She selected a blue based on my inspiration photos and knowing I wanted a dark island. Aesthetic White on three different sample boards in the partially done home reads pink to me. I think it's just too dark. Perhaps needs to be a bit lighter? But then again, too light gives too much contrast between cabinets and counters which with grayish counters can make them look dingy and dirty. After playing with sample boards I felt the color choice was not right so I did inquire on Friday about another alternative to Aesthetic White and I haven't heard back yet. Foggy Day was a surprise to me, because it is so light. I inquired of something darker and threw out Grays Harbor since it was next down on the paint strip and she said it had too much gray and wouldn't be balanced. Her second choice for the island was Grizzle Gray. I do like that color, but it reads like cement, but perhaps it will warm up with the northern exposure? I told her I wanted a relaxing spa feel in the master bathroom and she chose SW Misty. That color is pretty, but seems more appropriate for a child's room. And I don't see how it plays nice with Aesthetic White trim and doors. Seems to clash. At least to my eye. I hope that answers your questions. I am not good at color which is why I sought paid help. She is closer than what I have done on my own. It's just doesn't speak to me and when I look at it all together I don't sit back with a smile and get excited. I want to be excited about my choices.
