What's for dinner Monday?

I had Stanley Steamer in this morning to clean our carpets. They weren't really that bad, but I like to have them done at least once a year. They did such a good job.

Have to get up and leave here at 6:45 to get to Harry's dermatology appointment at 8:00. He's having the stitches out from his latest skin cancer.

We're having leftover potato cheese chowder for dinner. What have you been doing today and what's for dinner?

Still not up to eating, you would think I'd be starved since I hadn't eaten in over 24 hrs.

Did manage to down a few bites of chicken dressing, green beans.

I made a glaze for 2 bone-in chicken breasts. Honey, dijon lemon juice and a little bit of broth chicken broth.

Served it with rice and broccoli. Oh it was so good!
Apple cobbler coming up in a little bit.

I've eaten at Tubby's for breakfast, which was pretty good. The Marshall House is so beautiful! Did they tell you that you got there at a lucky time? You just missed the St. Patrick's Day parade, when hundreds of thousands of people attend what is reported to be second largest St. Pat's celebration in the country. What a green crush of people! But it is an incredible parade...I'm glad I went but once was enough. And I think that the big music festival is coming up, another time that the city is packed to overflowing. The hotels and inns are booked a year in advance!

Pam, I love quiche and have leftover ham in the freezer. I should make one with ham, and onions, peppers and mushrooms. Hubby won't eat any hot cooked eggs, so it's me and my quiche. The last time I made hamburger rolls I posted a pic :) Cheri I love pot roast. I tend to make mashed potatoes on the side, instead of in the slow cooker. We like them that way better. Alice your dinner sounds great! We eat a fair bit of rice, just love it. Ellendi would you share your quinoa recipe on the Share your Recipe Thread???? We enjoy quinoa. That's the pits you had so much trouble finding the sriracha. Old Fixer, IS there such a thing as too much garlic? LOL Party, I was going to bake some sweet potatoes yesterday, but they are really small, so I mashed them along with white potatoes. We like them mixed. Matti, I've heard that In n Out burgers are good. Enjoy! Rhizo, we just had some homemade apple sauce that I took out of the freezer with a warm oatmeal-carrot muffin! Georgysmom, everyone deserves pizza at some point!

We just finished watching the first episode of this season's Blacklist and thought I'd check back while setting up for Castle. Shirley, here's the recipe. Easy-peasy and delicious! Pam, you could have been here, as usual I made enough to feed at least 1 more person! Oven Ã¢ÂÂfriedÃ¢ÂÂ chicken Preparation time: 15 minutes Baking time: 20 to 25 minutes 1/3 cup dry unseasoned bread crumbs 2 teaspoons sesame seeds 1 1/2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup fat-free mayonnaise (not salad dressing mayonnaise) 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 2 dashes cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning 4 (4 ounces each) boneless, skinless chicken breast halves Cooking spray Preheat oven to 425ÃÂ°F. Place bread crumbs, sesame seeds, and Parmesan cheese in a large zip-top bag and shake gently to combine. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, salt, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and poultry seasoning. Using a pastry brush, coat both sides of each piece of chicken with the mayonnaise mixture. Place chicken, one piece at a time, into the bread crumb mixture in the zip-top bag, seal, and shake to coat chicken well. Transfer chicken to a foil-lined baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Spray chicken evenly with cooking spray. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until juices run clear and chicken is no longer pink in the center. Yield: 4 servings

I bought all the ingredients for cabbage soup yesterday... and got it started. I put ground beef in mine... or, at least, this time. :)

Moni, I make cabbage soup with ground beef as well. And carrots and potatoes. A meal in itself....more like a "stoup"!

I've been preparing tomorrow's dinner. I just shared a few extra sausage stuffed mushrooms with DH and we will have the left over Chinese from last night. I still have to make tomorrow's dessert and clean up my mess.

All I did was pop a chicken pot pie in the oven, and followed up with a half banana for 'dessert'. Best of all, no dishes.

Panko encrusted pork chops, browned in a skillet and finished in the oven, roasted carrots and broccoli and fried potatoes using the baked potatoes I had left over.

Wings and fries out. Home made pound cake with DQ ice cream cake, home made raspberry sauce, blue berries and cool whip for desert. YUM! I want more dessert, but will be a good girl.

Crockpot lasagna and a salad. DH loved the lasagna. Turned out pretty good.
