Please help me redecorate our powder room

It's time for another project --

Our little powder room needs a makeover.

It's very tiny, maybe 5'x4' at the most. Opposite the door is a leaded glass window with diamond shapes. Right now, the walls and ceiling are completely covered with smoked mirror (a former occupant was a very dramatic, high-priced decorator), which does make the tiny space seem bigger, but is way dated. To the left is the toilet, to the right is the sink, set into a marble-topped bombe chest, which is gorgeous but too big for the room. The only lighting is a darling little crystal chandelier. The tile is from 1920 and needs to be replaced.

The house is Mediterranean and on the formal side, especially in that part of the house. Dominant color scheme is peach - papaya- almost red. The first floor (except the kitchen) is hardwood, a medium reddish stain.

I find that I'm sort of envisioning peach, cream, and gold -- but I know from experience that I ALWAYS end up changing my mind, so PLEASE don't feel constrained or even guided by that.

What ideas do you all have? What is a great source for a tiny, fabulous sink?

I can't wait to hear your terrific ideas. Thanks in advance.
