Yes, that's what the bracket from the UglyBoysRoom sink looks like - they have a pair of small flanges that fit into slots on the sink and support it - the 1939 Standard Shelfback I have is surprisingly different - no slots in the back, but there are a couple of slots on the bottom of the sink a few inches in. The bracket mounted to the wall, and locks in under the sink more like a cleat. It also has holes for Chrome front legs that help support the weight. It's all ceramic and super heavy even at only 22" wide (there's a larger version of this sink too). I'll be sure to install heavy blocking to support it. Luckily, it looks like I can get a bracket that will work (but not made for the exact sink) - I'll still probably hit the salvage shops and see if I can turn one up locally for just a few bucks before I pony up retail from a retro shop. The natural jute or seagrass rugs will not look as good on carpet and may permanently discolor the carpet. Plus, it is just another edge for kids to trip on, so I personally would not layer flooring in that room just for looks. Reluctantly agree with above poster who speculated that bar table, while cute, would end up as a horizontal surface only (read: repository for anything you need to put down) and not as an eating area. I would maybe get a bigger ottoman than the chair (if you replace the chaise) would need, and get a nice big melamine tray with sides and a handle for the top for their food. (If you decide you want to try a table I wouldn't try a round one if it is going up against a wall for obvious space considerations, and I would get a regular height one, not the pub height...... think kids horsing around and falling off those high stools, their center of gravity is pretty high.) I bought a bolt of green and white mattress ticking fabric online years ago and had slipcovers made for two sofas. The slips outlasted the sofas! The navy and white (more in real life like navy and off white) is very durable if the fabric is cotton twill and woven, not simply printed on the surface. If you google signal flag pillows (images) you'll see an embarrassment of riches. If you go the signal pillow route you can always just do solid color pennants on the rafters. There are etsy shops that will make them to order in the colors you desire or you might find them already made. I have to say though that I really like the flags on rafters picture posted above!

Your kitchen seems fine except that I would take everything off the fridge and remove the clutter on the counter next to it. Your living room is small and needs to be carefully edited. I would remove the stained glass window and change the drapes for ones that reach the floor and are a solid color unless the baseboard heater is the reason they're short. I would put a shade in the window and use that for privacy and leave the drapes open. The family photo collage would be better off in a more private space, and instead I would look for some beautiful artwork. I would also remove the metal flower by the door. Put the lighter-colored chair in front of the window facing straight into the room and put the red chair in the middle of the wall on the right. You can then move the sofa more to the left and perhaps a little closer into the room. In the picture it looks as though it's too close to the dining room and partially obstructing the doorway. Several pieces of good art in the living room would really take it to a different level.

Not everyone can afford "mistakes"! You can only have so many stars in a room, or all will beg for attention . If you love your flooring, faucet , mirror and light!? Paint the walls a glossy deep gray! Go buy some oversized / peony art for the wall! There are MANY ways to make a beautiful powder room, and infinite ways to combine too many elements taken out of their context....... And cry real $$$$.
