95% very good. I went to Wal-Mart this morning with a very long list. I found everything on that list (plus extras) Bought a wireless mouse, because the touchpad on my PC sometimes acts up. Traffic was decent and made good time. (I had to travel abt 25 miles to Wally-world, The one thing that didn't go well was I took a throw-away camera to get developed at their 1Hr. developing. Paid for the pics, paid for my many purchases, went to the walk-in Great Clips for a trim and decided to look at my pics while I waited. Well, they were not my pics! I called when I got home and the gal said she realized that after I left. I told her I would ask my Son if he would return these in the next several days, and get my pics. The ones I got were taken at a party, some real goofy, but they probably want them. Dottie

My day is going fine so far! It's been snowing here all day! I took our granddaughter Cali to preschool and picked her up, did some laundry. I also stopped at the drugstore and grocery store while I was in town after dropping Cali at school.
Stan just got home from work and he brought me two dozen fresh brown eggs from a friends house!
Cali zipped her coat all by herself today!!!

maybe just a little slow compared to the rest of you. Granddaughter came over today, she is 2 and that always brings smiles to our faces. Marilyn Sue , she helped me make the potato soup, and we also made a strawberry pie. We did take a sample of both and its "yummy" according to her. The potato soup is really good, and first time for me to make rivvels. I have something else in mind, I was watching diners last night and they were showing fried chicken, been thinking about fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy. Lady was telling that she fries in the oven, I have a recipe that I use half butter and half oil and fry chicken in the oven. It turns out very crispy, so think I will make it tomorrow. Don't have my recipe at our new home, its in one of my books that I left with a friend, but think I found the same on the internet search for oven fried chicken. It took all that for me to say that I didn't have much going on today.

Slept late, skipped water, and fabulous lunch with dear friend.

I have had a busy one, too. Did the laundry, dishes, cleaned the kitchen really well and now I am going to start sewing....

I am so tired of all the snow and cold. I am soooooooo ready for Spring. I know it isn't far off but it sure seems like it...

I woke up to find about three inches of snow on my car, but I was able to clean it off and drive myself to the hospital for kidney dialysis. Unlike last week when I couldn't get out and had to call an ambulance to transport me. Came home, ate breakfast and spent the afternoon mostly indoors, going outside to shovel about once an hour. It's almost 5:30, must get some dinner together. And I'll go out one last time and throw some Ice Melt around. My dog Molly likes the snow; each time I go out, so does she!

I haven't done much of anything today. I was feeling so down about the continuing, ongoing snow here that I took a 2009 calendar that I'd put in the trash and cut out all the pretty, sunshiny pictures and have them taped up in my kitchen. Trying to psyche myself out.

Our school has already called off school for tomorrow. I can't remember how long it's been since there've been no listings scrolling across the bottom of the screen of the station I listen to for weather. Cutesy weatherman started his forecast with "Spring just called and has issued a two hour delay this year".

Hey, Shirley, if all those nice pictures help you let us all know. Maybe you are on to something. Hallngarden, I plan on fixing fried chicken for our birthday dinner this coming Sunday. Will post the rest of the menu as it gets closer.

Sue, I had a bob tailed raccoon here for awhile...actually, two of them...I guess they were siblings. I just saw one though, in the past year, and found him dead on the bayou about a week ago. I called him Puff. I wonder if this year's babies will bring me any "little" Puffs.

you had a more productive day than i did, lol...i was bound and determined to get the laundry baskets empty! i'm down to the final load (just a slip-cover) with the upstairs bathroom re-do almost finished, dh can take his basket back upstairs and not get his stuff mixed with mine. i hate his dress shirts getting in general laundry...they're all wash and wear and if i'm quick and do them alone, i don't have to iron!

we had about an inch of that fluffy snow but it was almost all gone by 3...we still quite a base from the 7" we had last week.

my most important thing was calling ds2 and finding out what time they were headed to the hosp for induction tomorrow...9:30am, so if i do go out, it will be early. we're not going to hosp, as they've sort of closed it to everyone except patients. they're trying to prevent that 3rd outbreak of h1n1...

while i'd love to be there, i can wait 48 hours til baby gets home. dil is sort of high maintance and it's better to be on her terms...so wish us luck that everything goes well...i'd hate to see her have to have a "c" section, unless baby needs it...he'll be our 8th grand and second boy...(their first)

I got up earlier than i usually do as dh had a dr appt today,to talk to a spinal surgeon about his back,and what treatments there were available for him.He doesn't want surgery,hasn't had any inhis life and he's almost 73 next month.They gave him a few options to think about.

Then we had to stop at CVS to pick up his meds and for me to drop off a thank you card to one of the pharmacists who helped me sooooo much a week or two ago to get my insurance straightened out.She was very sweet and went above and beyond what her duties are i'm sure.Nice to see that in these days.

Then we stopped at the PO to mail a pkg to GD.Once i got home i had to make a few phone calls,then i went back to sorting my magazines and stuff in my sewing room that i'll be getting rid of.
Been a busy day,and i still have clothes to fold.
