(those ruffled bowls I found definitely had your name all over them, knew they were meant for you.) I hope the hurricane doesn't cause you any problems, sounds like its going to be a big one. A long-time dear friend lives in NC, so am crossing fingers for her too. I worry more about the tornadoes that spin off, she's central NC. Will be keeping you and her, and everyone else in my thoughts and prayers. Mother Nature just went nuts this week what with earthquakes in DC AND Colorado, the hurricane coming, the dangerous heatwave here (116). I read N. Hi lindat! I'm a Wallace too! Couldn't find much online for the tartan, though. It's almost all wool, and VERY expensive. There is an ebay seller that sells a Poly viscose fabric kilt that boasts of 8 yards of fabric for around $65 (plus a hefty shipping fee). Southernfrenchie- Good point. Deep down I think I knew that I just need reassurance or a swift kick in the rump to keep things moving. Maybe at some point I'll see about using the floral on a cover. I'll have to wait awhile for that. Tina - I like this so much better than that linensource bedding too. While I do like it, I was trying to make something work. The black and white checks were the "masculine" to me in that bedding and really, it's not very masculine in comparison to the new fabrics. Kmcg - I didn't get a chance to look at the Chaps olive blanket yet but am planning to something this week. I think I'm going to wait until I have the pillows back from Nanny2a and on the bed before I buy one. I figure they'll have sales close to Christmas. I'll admit I'd like to find something cheaper than the sale price for the blanket since I'm already spending quite a bit on all this. I have a feeling it might be hard to find anything else olive that doesn't have shiny polyester trim attached! I'd like to still be able to paint, get new curtains, and a blind yet with what I have budgeted for the room. I'm pretty excited. I believe I'm going to order the fabric this week and get things rolling. This will all be so worth it in the end. I can't wait to walk into the room and see pretty things everyday that make me smile. Bed arrives tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Karin, What are the length on your drapes, and how wide? I might be interested. :o) Thanks. Rich69~ Here's fabric I found at a fabric store in Chattanooga, TN. I can give you their name and number if you are interested in this silk. It's red/green/gold/almost coral/salmon/clay (although not quite). There is no "pink" look on this fabric. The gold is true golden and the red is absolutely Christmas RED!! I am using it in my laundry room. They have some coordinating gorgeous bead trim. The beads are large, and are amber, clear, and oliveygreen (they repeat every 3 beads). Looks absolutely PERFECT with this fabric. I'll be doing on the lower edge of my roman shades. I could take a photo of the trim piece sample I have to show you, if you're even interested in this fabric. It has a few more colors in it than you were thinking, but the body and weight of this silk is just gorgeous! :o) Sorry it's not a closeup. I had it at the 'box store" to try it with my cabinet door choice and machines. :o) It is really beautiful in person!
