well, it worked.

I bought some peaches that turned out to be disappointing. I was intending peaches over ice cream (not much simpler) and the peaches were sort of dry and flavorless. So I started rummaging in the liquor cabinet looking for something tasty to drizzle on that would mask the dryness. I thought I had some peach or apricot brandy but found a giganto bottle of Southern Comfort....and put about a teaspoon on the peaches, sort of mushed them around, let it sit for 30 minutes and the sauce was delicious.

But what else can I do with that huge bottle of ?southern Comfort? I used to have a friend who frequently visited who liked a Manhatten made with Southern Comfort and I also belonged to a pot luck where one woman drank it too. But The friend moved and the woman divorced her husband! LOL!

So.....what else can I do with it?

Outside of in a Scarlet O'Hara at Christmas, I can't think of anything....but for sprucing up dry peaches.

Ideas?
