I love my doorknobs! LOL (1 pic)

I've been waiting forever it seems like for these to come!

They were on backorder and came today!

Now I am not sure where I am going to put them! LOL I have some more wall things ordered and they should be here next week. Have to figure out which color they look the best on too. Tan or the green or I do have a terra cotta/paprika wall.

Drives DH nuts when I do this! LOL

Sue I am coming to the conclusion we were brought together for me to wear you out...lol....I guess I cant make excuses for this addiction,your right, there is no good reason it got this crazy....unless you want to,of course,blame my enablers...lol.. speaking of enablers..... Kym your plan sounds like a good one,the thing that scares me the most is the critters and their appetites! Dh has agreed to get me a couple loads of soil....he had to be in the dog house first,but hey whatever works right?...lol..so I will be topping off all of this awful clay soil,with nice new dirt,I cant wait! Woo-Hoo! :)

No aphids on my honeysuckle yet, just my mums. Last year I had LOTS of ladybugs and had aphids on a few things around the yard but they seemed to be disappearing without any help from me, then late in the season, I started seeing more aphids and less ladybugs. I don't remember seeing aphids on my honeysuckle though. There were probably some at least. They were worst on my swamp milkweed and it hasn't come back this year. I haven't seen any ladybugs yet this year so I may be in trouble. I hope it's just too early. It doesn't seem to be necessary to get rid of ALL the aphids. Most plants can handle quite a few without suffering much. My swamp milkweed was coated with them though and I was just ignoring it because I assumed the ladybugs would eventually come along and feast. It was hot and dry at the same time and that was hard on it too. Lesson learned. : (

Hi , I am so glad you posted your hosta picture. I made a new garden on the side of my house and I purchased this type of hosta but it came with no name. Thanks to you I know the name ! Thanks much !!! The reason I choose it was due to the contrast it would have with heuchera purple palace! Today I picked up two hydrangeas , one of them is going to be placed in the side garden close to the hosta! Your combination looks wonderful!

Ooops! Ordered from JC Penny's.
Go to wall decor and then its under metals and plaques I think.
They look even better in person than they did on their site. I love it when that happens! LOL
They were $39.00 when I ordered them way back the first week of January. Then about a week later I spied them on sale for $29.99! I checked and they were on sale two days ago yet and they were shipped the same day. I emailed them and asked if they would honor the sale price and they did!

Dang it I was going to call your attention to the second one on the left. There are two tiny chips in the paint over the metal. I hope to find something to tone those spots down.

Those are WAY cool! I think the colors they are in would work well with just about any color wall! they are great!

Gee I love them too...

Maybe I can find someone around here to split a set with me...I can't understand why they sell so many.... I'd rather just buy one or two.

Connie, get a box of Crayons. Sniff 'em. Ahhhhh- it'll take you right back to your childhood. Anyway, rub a little of a matching one on your spots and buff them out, you'll never notice them again.

Those are cute! Are you going to use them to hang things from?

Are these plates part of the doorknob? I thought just the glass looking things are knobs.

Connie, Those are very interesting! Are you using them for decoration only, or also using the knobs for hooks?

Those door knobs are exactly the same as the knobs throughout our old house.

These are metal behind the door knobs. I don't know if I will hang anything from them or not. It would have to be lightweight.

Going to look thru the GB's crayon box now! Thanks 'Mingo!

I just love these doorknobs! I saw the post on Friday night, just as I was about to leave for work, and had to look till I found it today! I'm glad you posted where you got them, did the crayon work to buff out the 2 little knicks?
Let us know what you decide to do with them.

I love those, and I really love that wall color!

I revamped a sign I bought at Christmas with some craft paint. Whatever you decide, it will be fine. "Chippy" is sometimes a good thing!

The crayon did work somewhat...It covered up the nicks enough so they don't stand out quite as bad. If I can still see them once they are hung, (which will hopefully be today if I get the other things I ordered from Kohls) I will search my craft paint.
