I'm doing some laundry this morning and waiting for a call from VA about a viability study Harry has to have soon. He had an ECHO last week and it showed the stents they put in 2 years ago had occluded. Poor guy they just keep fixing him up until the next thing happens. I know you work at a VA hospital and want you to know how appreciated all of you are. They are so good to him, I wish I could be treated there!!

I may make some date-nut bread after lunch. I've been hungry for it, but too lazy to make it.

The sun was brightly shining, but now it's just sort of shining. We could use a little more rain, but.....

I never tried Zicam. DD(14) had a cold for 10 days. I took vitamin D to boost my immunity-never did catch it.

I did a focus group yesterday. Got paid $115 for 2 hours and 15 minutes!

Yes, Happy Birthday to Alex! I hope you get to feeling better. Nice day here today. I just took four cans of trash out to the road for tomorrow's pick up. I hauled it in my little trailer behind my "big rig". I had to make two trips. Lunch for me today was just some canned tomato soup and some toast.

Weather report???? Very cold 36 deg here in So Oregon. Big storm expected to begin this afternoon, so it is cloudy. We have some snow on the hill tops around us, new snow is not expected to stay on the valley floor for long as it has been warm. I do hear a lawn mower in the neighborhood...guess our warm spell grew grass.

Patti, I'm glad you like your VA hospital. Sorry to hear Harry is having to go back for more work. We see a lot of our patients over and over again, so much so that they become like family. I hope you got your phone call today and don't have to wait longer to hear from them.

Thanks, Lindie, my throat is feeling much better. Poor Lauren came home this afternoon sounding like a man. Her and Sola were in here watching one of the Narnia movies, and she sneezed a dozen times in a row. She thought the Zicam would be gross so she's suffering.

Marilyn Sue, I love tomato soup, especially tomato bisque. If we're out eating and they have it on the menu, I will sometimes get it. I did last Friday when Alex and I went out. He wanted Seafood so we went to the Rigatta. Their tomato bisque was horrible, though...all I could taste was pepper.

Nanny98, too cold for me. I'm glad we had a mild Winter. It's still been cold, just not as cold as usual and very little snow here in KY.

I did not clean my house. I feel like a bum. All I did was laundry, dishes and sat on my butt at this computer all day playing Mahjong.

My husband had a bad cold and went to the doctor and got some antibiotics for something, he doesn't know what for though. He had his a week before I noticed I was getting a sore throat. I started taking Zicam right away ane it never helped at all.
