Tee hee, I live on a ridge, and right below me, is Kohl's.
Can see the roof and parking lot, between the trees!

There's two about 20 minutes from me, I'm right smack in the middle of them.

I've got a lot of good deals there.

I know I've said this before. But, I quit going to the Kohl's in Katy nearby because it is dirty and unorganized.

Gayle - ours in Mesquite is the same way. Not so much dirty but just piles and piles of clothes crammed everywhere. Drives me crazy.

I love Kohl's. ALways get the best deals there.

Send a letter about how dirty it is. I work there and every week I see the managers struggle with the budget because they don't give them enough money (which equals employees on the floor). Trust me I feel bad for the customers who can never find someone to help them with questions. I think my biggest pet peeve is when a customer wants something and it is out of stock and they say "I don't understand, it is in the flyer that just came out today". Yes but it has been in the store since Christmas. We have no control over what is sent to us on the truck and don't get mad at us little people!!!

Brenda, the one in Arlington is like that, too. Before we got one in Tyler I'd go w/ DD#2 to the one in Cedar Hill, but now we have this one and so far, they've kept it immaculate. The one in Arlington is dangerous--someone is going to fall over all that stuff. I just hope ours continues to be so neat and clean.

I shopped at Kohl's once years and years ago. Didn't like their prices for some things, like undies and nighties. Ever since, people have told me what great sales they have. Never went back to catch a sale but keep meaning to go. I get jealous over people finding such great bargains LOL. Good for you though.

The racks are so cramed full you can't see anything. Then you pull it out six things fall on the floor. You try to stuff it back and six more things fall on the floor.

As a former Store Manager myself, this is a merchandising "no no".

Ours is kinda new. Maybe 5 years old. It's neat and orderly. I do get mad about the flyers and then not having the item. Maybe it has been in there since Christmas, but it happens to be in todays flyer as on sale. Then there isn't any when you make a special effort to go to that specific store to get it.

We have one now...it opened just before Christmas time.

A bunch of new stores are moving out here in a couple of those newer type shopping centers that each have their own parking lot and door instead of an inside mall.

Kohls was first. We are getting a super Target, J C Penney, Bed,Bath and more, Hobby Lobby, I think a ShopKo and I don't remember what other stores. But I think most will be done this summer. It is right off the interstate and next to our Super Walmart , Sams, Toys are Us, Gordman's, Best Buy, Home Depot, Menards, Three large Motels, And a slew of restaurants. All about 5 minutes from my home..

I can't wait for Hobby Lobby.

I've never been to Kohl's, but there is one about 45 miles away. I'll have to check it out. Where did you get the 20% off coupon, Vannie? If I can get a coupon I might just go shopping tomorrow!

I got my coupon in the mail Mary Ann. Guess because I have a Kohl's charge card.

I just checked out their website and signed up for their e-mail sales alerts. They are suppose to e-mail me printable 10% off coupons periodically. Hope they send one out today or in the morning!

Maryann, they sent it to me in the mail. It was a scratch off--10, 20, 30% off. Once I got the 30% off. DD#2 was pregnant and we went nuts buying maternity clothes. It was such fun. When I got ready to check out today the gal offered me another scratch off. It was only 15% so I used the one I had. 75% off racks get my attention!

I love Kohl's! I have a 30% offf coupon that I plan to use this afternoon! This is the second time in a year that I've got the 30% off coupon. I seldom buy anything at regular price but their sales are fantastic. Bettye

Ours is a couple of hours away, so I don't get to it too often, but they do have great sales. Last year, for Christmas, I got the guys collared heavy shirts, with the zipper, etc, and pajama sets for the females, and spent under $20 for each of them.

I love Kohl's but ours is 20 miles away. With the bad weather we have had this winter, I haven't been there for several months.

The shopping plaza closest to me has Kohl's, a Super Target (what's so super about it? There is a Starbucks inside!), and an Old Navy. I joke that if I can't get it between those three stores, I don't really need it. I don't like shopping, but depend on those stores for what shopping I have to do.

The original prices at Kohl's can be steep for what it is. But when it's on sale, WOOHOO! I bought my favorite purchase at Kohl's a couple years ago. A suede jacket, orginally priced at $160, but paid $40. I love that jacket.

Ours is about 2 years old. It's less than 5 minutes from home. I love the bargains we get there. A few weeks ago I got several long sleeved knit shirts that I like to wear in cool weather for $2 apiece. Last fall they were $18.

I am surrounded by Kohls stores and I completely agree with Gayle.

I get those 30% scratch offs in the mail with them constantly begging me to come in and use my credit card. I wander around and I just don't see what's to like. Old picked over merchandise that was marked up so they could "discount" it more later, bras and lingerie on the floor being walked on (yuck) out of season stuff from a year or more ago. No thank you.

I have bought a couple of purses and a few men's shirts in packages but thats about it over the years they've been in our area. Tried their branded socks but those developed holes after the first wearing. Walmart's are better. LOL There is one store about 25 miles away that is cleaner.

I love Kohls.
You can get some high dollar stuff for not very much if you watch the sales.
I'm going to the city tomorrow.
Kohls will be one of my stops if the sales are THIS good!

The Kohls in Utah are very nice and always well stocked, especially the smaller stores. The larger ones I have not been in.

I like shopping online there too.

We have 3 Kohl's pretty close to us. I love them! I usually find something nice (clothes or home decor). But I always buy on sale or with a coupon. I believe they are the only store I have a credit card for.

Their regular prices can be expensive, but I've found some great deals there! DH likes the mens clothes and he needs XLT (XLarge Tall) or XXL which can be harder to find. Once found a nice Halloween costume (after the holiday) for $3, plus another discount. Just bought a size larger and DD wore the next year. Started around $30.

I've found you get what you pay for. I bought ds a coat last year and the zipper broke last month. I went to buy another coat and found several with rips in the fabric near the seam. I bought another brand and discovered a rip as it was being put in the bag. At that point, I got my money back and went elsewhere.

I haven't had a lot of luck with their clothes. Most look good only for a few washings. It amazes me that my clothes from the 80's lasted for years and now I can't get clothes to last a season.

I love Kohls but the nearest one is 60 miles away. But whenever I have been there, it has always been clean. The only time it was even cluttered was at Christmas time when they had the really big sales and people were throwing stuff around for the good deals. Otherwise, it has always been well kept, at least here.

There's one about an hour away. I got a nice reversible coat there a few years ago. I think it was $20.

The nearest one to me is where Vannie went. I will have to get over there soon with her.

I buy their Barely There bras, which are fantastic! Well, if you are looking for NO support, the ones that are like sports bras, that is!

mine is almost around the corner, lol...i buy all of dh's dress shirts there..the croft-barrow brand oxford cloth is really wrinkle free...

We have one in Portsmouth, NH. It opened up a few years ago. Maybe a 15 minute drive from my house. First time I went there, (just a few weeks after it opened) I was not impressed. Messy racks and clothes on the floor. Couldn't find a sales person even if I sent up a flare. Thought I would give them a 2nd try to see if they cleaned up their act a year later. Nope, just as messy and couldn't find anything. Maybe I'll try it in another year. lol NancyLouise

I love Kohl's. I buy most of Woody's clothes there, all casual things, and he's got the cutest t-shirts now. And cargo shorts, deck shoes, Hawaiian shirts, etc. I get most of my basic clothes there, long-sleeved t-shirts, sweaters, etc, because they have a decent amount of Petites to choose from. Shoes, great sales. I also like their housewares depts.

Ours is only messy around Christmas time.
