I said I'd take my child to a birthday party tonight. I'd prefer to stay home and watch this, but I guess I'll have to watch it tomorrow instead.

I hope Russell goes out first.

Ethanol is "an alcohol product produced from corn, sorghum, potatoes, wheat, sugar cane, even biomass such as cornstalks and vegetable waste. When combined with gasoline, it increases octane levels while also promoting more complete fuel burning that reduces harmful tailpipe emissions such as carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons.Biodiesel is "a domestic, renewable fuel for diesel engines derived from natural oils like soybean oil, and which meets the specifications of ASTM D 6751." Or, for those of you who want a more technical definition, it is "a fuel comprised of mono-alkyl esters of long chain fatty acids derived from vegetable oils or animal fats. Also Biodiesel is made through a chemical process called transesterification "whereby the glycerin is separated from the fat or vegetable oil.Both forms of biofuel have definite environmental advantages over petroleum-based gasoline and diesel fuel.Ethanol contains 35% oxygen. Adding oxygen to fuel results in more complete fuel combustion, thus reducing harmful tailpipe emissions. Ethanol also displaces the use of toxic gasoline components such as benzene, a carcinogen. Ethanol is non-toxic, water soluble and quickly biodegradable.Biodiesel, on the other hand, "is the only alternative fuel to have fully completed the health effects testing requirements of the Clean Air Act. The use of biodiesel in a conventional diesel engine results in substantial reduction of unburned hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and particulate matter compared to emissions from diesel fuel. Johnny Fairplay had a brand new baby (or else it was that his girlfriend was very pregnant and close to giving birth), and he said that he just didn't want to be away from them as long as he'd have to be away for the show. Although it's been a while, I'm guessing that maybe he still dooesn't want to leave his family.

It depends. Can't stand grammar or punctuation errors - but those are really the fault of the proof-reader. I was recently horrified to find a recent paperback copy of 1984; my own copy is beautifully accurate, but this one, for some reason, had replaced at least some of the semi-colons with commas. So presumably, someone had carefully "corrected" them. Grrrrr. As far as factual accuracy is concerned - well, I shrug and accept it. If a flower is in bloom at a time of year when it couldn't possibly be, I wouldn't notice in any case - similarly with not-too-gross anachronisms. Black Swan Green did slightly annoy me - the book was set in the eighties, and the kid in the book kept referring disparagingly to things being a bit "gay". Well, by then, "gay" was certainly used for homosexual, but the use by kids as a slightly disparaging term is really quite modern - certainly within the last twenty years, I'd have said. Bit subtle, that. I can live with technical errors about computers, even though I work with them. I can normally ignore scientific errors, too. But there is the famous error in The Lord of the Flies - Piggy was short-sighted, so his glasses would not have worked as burning glasses. Something as fundamental as that, on which the whole book turns - damn it, it should be right!

I was just checking out the TV schedule for tonight and found out tonight's show is 2 hours long.

From what I've read, the current survivor show was being filmed when last season aired, so no one has any idea how Russell played the game. It shall be interesting!

I can't wait!! Russell is such a poor loser, I can't wait to watch him hang himself.
It is snowing like crazy here about 4" and much more expected, so our survivor dinner has been cancelled. Bummer.

I'm happy to hear that no one knows how Russell played the game, so they're not on to him. He grew on me ALOT and he should have won the last game.

If he wins, I won't be disappointed. There's a lot of great players, so I'll be interested to see who I really want to win as the game progresses. But the one I don't want to even come close to the end is Rob.

I've always thought Russell played a great game and would love to see him win this one.

I'm OK with Boston Rob being in the game as long as whiney pants Ambuh stays home. LOL But I would love to see Russell play him.

The heroes versus villains concept is great. It will be interesting to see what happens after the merge. Would be fun to see some odd alliance like Russell and Rupert.

I like Russell. His father is a best friend of my husband's and he says in real life he is a super nice guy. I'd like to see him win. I like Rob too. I agree with Wildchild. I wasn't crazy about "Ambuh".
