Has anyone installed Caesarstone London Grey or Frosty Carrina?
Comments (27)lynn2006: Thanks and I am happy to share, just as others have shared before me. erinf8: Attached is a grouted picture; sorry this was at night with the undercounter lighting on; you see we are getting some reflection from the LEDs. It is not bad from far away, however, just at certain angles up close. The grout is Platinum. We went with this choice to make the veining the star, rather than the grout lines. The UC ighting is also a slightly cooler temp (3K) to emphasize the contrast. The tile was actually my second choice, my first choice was online at the Builders Stone Depot, but that did not work out. After some searching at dealers by my GC and I, I found these, in stock, at a regular warehouse called Liberty Builders in South SF. SparkingWater: Thanks. I did not get to view the slabs before hand. I jumped in with both feet first! I never made it to the Caesarstone local warehouse. Someone asked about the edge earlier: it is mitered and slightly eased, by about 1/8", I think, per the Caesarstone Warranty specifications....See MoreHas anybody had Caesarstone calacatta nuvo countertop installed?
Comments (59)What are good wall colors for this combination? I'm installing a Calacatta Novo countertop with white high-gloss IKEA upper cabinets and Voxtorp walnut look base cabinets. Using simple 3x6 white subway tiles for backsplash with gray grout and Rawtech white tiled floor (looks like light concrete). I'm thinking of introducing some greige to shake things up instead of a more typical white like Simply White or Cloud Nine (which looks great in the pictures above!) - Worn Leather Shoe, Upper West Side, or Quicksand looked interesting in the Benjamin Moore online program. Any tips?...See MoreSeeking pics of Installed Caesarstone Statuario Maximus
Comments (21)leslieanndaugherty, that looks beautiful. Are you cabinets off white or creamy? Kind of looks like it from the photos. What color is your backsplash? We are thinking of using this as well, and our cabinets are off white and all the other quartz designs are too white. What warehouse did you go to to see the slabs in ATL? Is yours the glossy or matte version? Are you still happy with it? Thank you. :)...See MoreCaesarstone install question concerning edge
Comments (8)Yes, there is buildup (is what it is called) to raise the countertops so that the 4 cm (2cm top + 2cm laminated edge) is all above or sitting on top of the cabinets and not hanging over the front of the cabinets. The typical overhang is 1 1/4". This is to ensure that the drawers would not get dripped on if anything was on the edge of the countertop. Do you have a inset door style? If you have this style of cabinet you could go with less overhang. Is it possible to attach a picture?...See MoreJoseph Corlett, LLC
