Hi, Nick. Anne and I have been corresponding about your rose. Each of us are now trying to find a documented Bess Lovett to compare it to. When I was at your place, I think I photographed Mary Wallace instead of this Van Fleet rose (darn it), and my plants from your cuttings were too young last year (their first year to bloom) to show mature flowers. We anxiously await this spring's blooms to see what we have ... both here and at your place. This has become quite a mystery. As far as I can tell, the HMF photos of Bess Lovett at Cranford in NY appear to be correct. I would love to get in contact with the powers-that-be and get cuttings this summer. Anyone have any connections? This search is a good example of why we try to distribute these rare roses. The Bess Lovetts that we knew of in gardens are lost, and we are now on the quest for a rose that could easily go extinct. I collect these rare roses, and I carry them in my nursery, to try to preserve them and show my visitors that there are other things out there besides the big-box rose-du-jour. Connie

Ivamae, I too am in need of that info. I went to yahoo to submit and there isnt anywhere where you do it yourself or its just so hidden.. Google is the only one that I have and have not done that yet. I redid some of my stuff like changed the background color and some pictures. My biggest problem is that when you double click on some of my items to enlarge then, which by the way I didn't do that in the begining, the click thing so haven't a clue how to fix that. They are HUGEEEEE I can find no where to resize them in my tool bar or by right clicking and going to properties. This is a tuff thing when you are trying to do it yourself. I hosted with Yahoo and then they make you pay to submit. I don't get it. I am already paying them for the domain, the site, which I have been paying for, for months and not even had a site to view. Till now. Any help from anyone would help us both and Thanks to MaryAnn for your info. Connie
