Beside the sheer horror of the overall effect, I notice that the fabric is put on sideways. I used to sew a lot and seeing a pattern with a definite bottom and top used sideways still makes me cringe. Not that applying it the right way would have improved them immensely.

He probably has seen them at Cabelas but he does have good taste...it is all done in pecky cypress & cedar, tasteful plaids & tweeds:)

Allison, we saw those at the Bass Pro in Springfield, MO...DS1 said they are the most comfortable chairs ever. I held my breath when he said that.

Oh man, thanks for the warning. My neighbor keeps trying to get us to go to the new Cabela's/Bass Pro near here. I have told DH he can decorate the basement any way he wants, but since he doesn't watch TV down there, I think I'm safe.

parma, leather in camo pattern. You need to drop everything and figure how you can immediately get that into production by the yard! You'd make a zillion dollars.

The chairs -- had to take a second look. Wow. Just wow. Leather camo would be an upgrade for sure.

Those are hilarious. I saw them in Key West at a big showroom and my husband actually said "those look comfortable" to which I replied "In your dreams?" Hahahaha

Funcolors, it's not quite that bad (but still horrible). I was reliving my anguish and didn't make myself clear. :)

Not the camo...just a glowing, rust colored leather.

I thought you all would enjoy. My mom just left and we told her we were getting two. She knows us better than that. lol

I came home and ordered a shirt online that they didn't have in my size - they have sectionals too. Can you imagine there is calling for enough of them that they actually make them to begin with?! I live in the deep South where deer/turkey/dove/quail/duck hunting season is like a national holiday, but don't know anyone with camo furniture. lol

Camo + leather is brilliant.

The soldier on that sofa is hilarious. I called DH and both boys in to see that one. From a distance they didn't see him and all laughed out loud once they were able to focus. Better than a "Where's Waldo" page. Too fun.

Allison I can't imagine you in Bass Pro Shop! We have one here too.

We are big boaters and campers, and my husband fishes, but he mainly orders from them. The stores are pretty overwhelming - to me anyway.

Tina, I shoot (but not critters unless they are rabid) and I'll kill a poisonous snake in a heartbeat (know too many who have lost pets to them), then hang the skin in the den........but the thing you wouldn't guess by seeing me is that I was in the Army Reserve back in the day (87th MAC). We ran war games east of the Mississippi River. I qualified Expert with an M16 in Basic Training (helped that I knew how to shoot before I got there ;) ). I enjoyed basic training (even PT at 5am), and loved sleeping in tents and getting dirty. Sad thing is, I retired when I was pregnant with DD1 (1983) and I just missed out on the changeover from OD Green to Camo!! >:(

I told DH I had "been once and didn't ever have to go back again." ; )
