Sounds like fun but mostly I will be thrilled to see you again since we weren't able to get together this summer! Randy, sorry to hear about the injury to your daughter. I would venture to guess that no one is more unhappy about it than your daughter, though, right? My son was a elite league soccer player in Norman many years ago when soccer first began to be a popular sport in Oklahoma. He was one of the first junior varsity member winners and we traveled extensively. He had a habit of not telling us when he was injured so it made it difficult sometimes because he would wait until his injuries were more severe than they may have been had we known earlier. One was a broken elbow that required 2 surgeries to repair! He just hated not playing so much and was miserable when he was not able to play. I hope she heals quickly! Susan

Hi everyone, Sorry I've ebeen AWOL for awhile. Spring is always such a busy time. I've been trying to get the yard & gardens cleaned up. DH is expecting to start a new job in a couple of weeks, its suppose to pay about twice as much. He'll be driving OTR again with only one day home per week so we're trying to get stuff here taken care of beforehand (building GH, fixing stuff, etc).He gave his current job his 2 wk notice just 2 days ago and they called today letting him go (on his day off)! Now we're really hoping the new job is as good as it sounds!! I got the last of my WS potted yesterday. Out of 160+ jugs there were only about 15-20 that didn't sprout...not bad I guess for my first WS attempt. I'm waiting for my BIL to till my new gardens so I can plant stuff...alot of my potted seedlings have bloomed! Bluebonnets, Lacy Phacelia, and Nasturtiums of every color! I hope they're still blooming by the time I get them in the gardens! Kym, thanks for sending the May list in advance! At least I won't get behind on that! LOL I'm fine with recieving emails from forum members...sounds like you have an interesting game up your sleeve. Count me in! I hope all April Bday buddies are having a wonderful BDay month!!!!! I thought of that Joyful, but I think you have to put in a birthdate because I believe I've went to profile pages of some KTers and no birthday is listed. I do agree though that if people would just choose a date, they might choose 1/1? I believe Jannaz is Pattico's cousin.. maybe Patti will pop in and let us know? At least we would know if one of the birthdays is correct. :-)

Thank you all, I've had a great day. We celebrated on Sunday, I made (which I always do)...my homemade chicken noodle soup..homemade noodles. AND homemade ice cream. I invite whomever wants to can come over. THis year I had a lot to celebrate, with surviving cancer and all, so I invited A LOT of people. I made 3 roasters of soup, planning on bring one to work (okay 4, but one was broth to freeze for another day). ALL THREE ROASTERS WERE GONE!!! Yes they ate it all, literally! About 40 people came over througout the day! It was so fun! So I had to make more noodles last night to and use the broth to bring soup to work today, and they ate the final roaster of soup...and I work in a rather small office!!!

Yes It's been a GREAT BIRTHDAY! and I'm not afraid to say how old I am...51!!!
