My comment about JL crying gig was only a guess...don't take it so serious. It could be a drama session for ratings believe me most of those shows are scripted and filmed by a director who picks certain video shots, such as, on Amazing Race, Survivor, etc......Do you really think all these shows are the real thing??? Please!!!! As for the young fellow who was helping his girlfriend...I felt for him but, there were many others who hardship stories too. I thought this was a singing contestant not This is your life. I think JL still looked beautiful even when she was crying...she kept her head down and blotted her tears. I hope I am wrong but .....I wonder!!!!

You know, I don't think they said who got the top votes. I know at one point, they told someone they were in the bottom 3 but I can't remember who it was. Amanda is horrid, but there is a website called "vote for the worst" dot com that helped keep her and Danny there, and I think that's awful. It's the same place that kept Sanjaya going for so long. It's sickening to me that people can be so mean as to not only put people's pictures on a website and encourage people to vote because they are so bad, but to also kill the dreams of the ones who deserve to stay.

Well, I can't say the best singer has always won. Can never forget Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken. You're right, people say they like her, she did well, and such as that. But no one has said she is their favorite to win. It's hard to imagine luke warm responses if Celine were a contestant. I like the guys better too, but I can't say it is because they are better singers than Carly. They are more appealing is more like the reason. I'm trying to say she doesn't impact me much. She doesn't excite me when I hear her. Brooke, for example, is very middle of the road - no antics, no soaring, nothing to write home about - but I get the warm fuzzies when she sings. I smile when she's on stage and in her element. She has an affect. David Cook makes me have a ball right along with him. He takes me on his ride. David A. makes me want to hug him and mess up his hair LOL. I could say similar of all the other contestants, whereas Carly has no affect at all. It is undeniable that she's good, but she doesn't impact the listener like the others do.

He's not my favourite for sure, but I can't see how David Cook can NOT win. Personality/talent/comfort on the stage combined - there's no one to beat him. I loved Syesha last night. Normally she comes across to me as quite bland and ordinary, despite the fact that she's incredibly talented and has a fantastic voice. There's just nothing different about her, I suppose. Last night, however, she shone. I think Broadway is more her thing that being a pop star. Carly and Jason are my top choices. Carly is just amazing - I love her, but she doesn't seem to have the huge fan base that a few of the others have. Jason doesn't have a huge range, and he's not terribly flexible in his styles, but I think his voice is neat and interesting, and very unique. I love listening to his version of songs. He reminds me a bit of John Denver. David A. is a great singer. I think he'll really be something in, say, 10 years or so. He doesn't seem to have a lot of confidence right now. His voice is very polished and professional, but he never really seems comfortable with himself. I think that'll hold him back. I adore Brooke. She incredibly beautiful, and she seems so sweet. I love her style, too. Very Joni Mitchell. And she is so emotional. I don't think she'll last much longer, though. I think she'll be the one to go tonight. I predict she and Jason will be the bottom 2, but Jason probably has more fans, so he'll last another week or so.
