Here in Georgia we are under a winter storm WARNING. We are currently having rain which will turn to lots of ice tonight and Wednesday is supposed to be awful. We are warned to stay off the roads unless it is an emergency. This is supposed to be worse than what we had on January 28.

It was 0 here in Ohio when I first looked at the thermometer. Will only get up to the low/mid 20s. I wish the sun was as warm as it looks to be. Would love to see all the snow/ice gone so I could get out.

did get out but had to...but am back in, back in a flannels and sweatshirt...so tired of being cold! and I have a couple of dr's appts to make but not till it gets warmer...

It's 16 degrees now. Snow on the ground. The kids had a one hour delay for school today but actually went. Sun is shining and the road and my driveway are fairly clear of snow.

79 today, yes 79. Very little rain, summer temperatures...it's no laughing matter here in CA! The temps force us to water lawns and plants, using up what precious little water we have.

Do you really want to know how nice it is here while we are escaping this awful mainland winter?

We had a muggy day yesterday; used ceiling fans on 'high', but didn't resort to the A/C. Last night it cooled down. Lovely, drier morning -- 78F with a light breeze. Myna's are having a 'discussion' in the palm beside our lanai. I heard some Cardinals' light cheeping in the bedroom courtyard at dawn. (They have a nest in a boogie tree there.) The raucous quail haven't ventured back as close to the condo since we made them unwelcome with the water pistols. (Brilliant idea, Sue!)

Our new mattress is to be delivered this afternoon! Hooray for our backs! (I hope.)

Temps around 20 above, but very cold and windy. Expecting snow the next three days, but not much--but who knows. Trying to get taxes ready etc

Cold. Yesterday was cold and windy. Tomorrow's forecast made me laugh! I guess they're out of things to say. It said "morning snow, followed by snow". Verbatim. I kid you not! Well then, just say it's going to snow.

Rob, your forecast is exactly what IS likely to materialize here in northern Alabama. It snowed which turned to ice early this morning, followed by a warm up today. Later on tonight and tomorrow, it's forecasted to snow again.....several inches is likely.

Sunny and warm (well, you asked)! It was probably in the low 70's with low humidity. Ah! Had an appointment I had to get to on the other side of town so I got to enjoy it a little. Another cold spell later on this week, I hear, but it won't last long this time of year.

Cloudy and windy.....temp is way up to 12ú, but it feels very rough out there. We do have a bit of moderating weather forecast, and we are all quite giddy in anticipation!!

Sunday and Monday were beautiful, 70s and sunny ( Savannah ). Today cloudy and much cooler. We're not supposed to get the freezing rain and snow that are predicted for Atlanta and other parts of GA. Sunny and warm for the weekend which is great for our grand kids' visit.

78 here in the Inland Empire of sunny California~~in the 80's the rest of the week~~~we need rain. Afraid we will have a bad fire season.

We're getting another winter storm here on the coast of NC. Getting ice, but no snow this close to the coast. Some of the counties just inland from us are getting several inches. It was starting to ice around lunchtime. I told my supervisor around 2pm that I was going home so I could get across the bridges before they iced. Good thing, because several accidents were later reported on the big bridge I use. I was planning to print something out to work on at home, but as I started back to my office the power went out. My office is delayed until 12pm tomorrow, but if things continue as they are I'll be surprised if we open.

Had to run all over the place today, but the roads are clear and just parking lots and driveways are still ice covered. Had a little melting today and our drive is still treacherous, but the rest of the week should melt it all, we'll be in the 50's soon here in NW Arkansas.

Not sure where Chisue is, but warm and humid sounds good to me!

Another cold day here too, we are suppose to have normal temps after tomorrow....YAH!!! Yard work and beautiful temps.

The last two nights are lows have been -20 which is unheard of in the last couple of decades. By the weekend the highs will be above 32 and the lows will be in double digits. Today I delivered meals of wheels and then volunteered at the hospital in the afternoon. Glad to be home and inside where it is warm.

We're in central Virginia, and starting tomorrow evening its supposed to start snowing big time. Each time I see a weather report they are predicting more. The latest prediction was 12-18 inches. Yikes. I can easily work from home on Thursday, but I'm concerned about our horses and about the power going out which means no heat and no water.

Atlanta was closed yesterday...but open for business today!! I just stayed in by the fire and prayed the electricity wouldn't go out...but I was ready with my Kindle for entertainment and candles to see by...they flickered a few times when the lineman had to shut power down to repair downed lines...They did an excellent job keeping us up and running!! My Hoosier state sent lineman down from Duke Energy to help us restore...THANK YOU HOOSIER STATE!!
