Here in Arizona it is going to be in the mid 80's. We are all enjoying the lovely weather but not the allergies.

It's 67 right now with a predicted high of 71. It's raining in San Antonio, which is where I am going in a few minutes. I hope we get rain here. The wild flowers here are beautiful, and a rain would really refresh them.

It's 57º here right now, sun is shining, and it's very windy. It is nice, though, for Minnesota on April 15.

In high 60s here, I think - I planted onion sets yesterday, peas this morning and will do some more as soon as Conrad tills the rest of the garden (he did about three rows, yesterday - after he'd brought me the onion sets).

Warm, pleasant day ... to get rainy and cool by the weekend.

Absolutely beautiful--Spring is definitely my very favorite time of year. The azaleas are in bloom as is the wisteria. Our petalatium was pretty last week but noticed it's fading today. So many pretty colors.

We spent the morning at VA for Harry's congestive heart failure clinic appointment. First he had labs, then CHF clinic decided I needed to take him up for an EKG. I took his C-PAP because I was pretty sure they were going to keep him, but thank heavens they didn't.

We had a nice time coming home. I sometimes wonder what's going to happen when we run out of things to talk about!

It's sunny and 70 degrees today. It's supposed to rain tomorrow and the next day, so I would have liked to have planted the onions, but I'm really not feeling well.

It's 'WAY TOO HOT in Chicagoland, even a mile from the lake! Our pears are in full bloom and will begin leafing out if it doesn't cool off soon. The magnolia has peaked already. And...we need RAIN. There's a red flag warning against fires posted on the weather forecast. Despite a weed preventative visit from Scott's last weeke, we have a nice crop of dandelions here and there in the lawn. (I think the ultra-early Spring beat the application.)

Supposed to start raining after midnight from a cold front moving in and by the end of the weekend we will be back down to 10C which is below the seasonal temp for this time of the year.

I still want Spring. I don't want to jump right into the hot weather.

it was beautiful today..low 70's...sunny..but ARRRGGGGHHH the pollen count was 1470...

Quite the gammit over here. This morning it was cloudy and cool(about 4 degrees C). This afternoon the sun came out but with the wind it makes it kinda chilly(about 10 degrees C). We had some much needed rain last night. Should make the grass and trees turn green. The tulips are coming along but not yet ready to bloom. The buds on the trees are steadily getting bigger. Some people say they have seen robins, I just hope we don't get another snowfall. Will have to put out some chopped liver for the poor robins if we do. Just for your info we had snow till the middle of May 2009.!!!!!

Saw the first Hummers yesterday! Can't wait for the rest of them.They are so much fun to watch.

Beautiful day here in southern Wisconsin and away from Lake Michigan. It was in the 70s F for most of the day, touched on 80 F and then fell back. A stiff beeze kicked up from the southwest, gusting to maybe 20 mph. And now tis midnight and we still have windows open. However, just a few minutes ago, something blen in that started me sneezing and eyes burning for about 10 minutes.

This unusually nice weather for this part of the continent.

We heard a mysterious boom last night - think it was a sonic boom from the meteor that streaked in. They are still working on trying to locate the approximate landing location. No one knows for sure the path it took. It is believed that it broke up into many little pieces. At least, there has been no report of someoen getting drilled with it or property damage. Maybe, I'll go trolling my rain gutters with a magnet - might find metalic meteor particles. [No joke, micro-meteor do fall more than one might envision, and those with metalic content collect in rain gutters. If you find metallic particles largely of iron and nickel compounds, these are have a good chance of being micrometeors.]
