Yes, Suzy it is. Thanks for such a nice post even after I usurped Sheilas post. I was just so happy to remember and realize I shared the day with someone so special and special to me at the Party. Robin you got it right. Christy it is. I was upstairs reading then siesta after a nice brunch I made for myself. Christy is home from work now and about to go steam me some Alaskan King Crab legs, garlic style. Janis I always love to see you here. Thanks for the wish. Suzy I'm glad you're enjoying the Artisan bread. I recently just bought their book as a used book on Amazon. If you're interested in any other type of bread that's no knead just let me know. They have all sorts, challah, oatmeal, whole wheat, bagels, olive oil breads, pretzels, etc. It's nice to be back. Now with the digital camera I guess I could and should take some pics of some of my work. Have to get to that....probably after we stop melting around here.

And I'm so sorry to be so late thanking you all!! Thanks for starting the thread Ann T, how very nice of you. I did have a really nice birthday. I had made some fresh pasta sauce and froze it so Christy made me some gnocchi to go with it. It took a while this year but we finally found a place with the best corn ever, and you know that's saying something for me. So, we had a couple ears of corn too. A nice devils food cake with cream cheese icing and a nice birthday feast was had. I have been getting back into canning a bit, so Christy gave me this nice rack to put the cases of jars and supplies on as well as the jars of food. I cut a finger rather bad on the slicing blade of my new food processor so I'm just getting back to using that and hope to get to canning some this week. Here is my lovely rack. It's 5 shelves. Took a break from starting to put things on the shelves to take pic but at far end are some jars of beef broth and a few of the peach preserves I did last week. Rack is in the hallway. Closest woodwork is dining room doorway and at far end you can see edge of kitchen doorway. Thanks for all the well wishes, they really are appreciated, despite my slow response.

Thanks Everyone! How nice. Jessy I pretty much have to sit around most of the time anyway. Smiles. Think we might take Jessie over to Colliers Mills [lake/pond] and let him swim on the long line. Maybe a little fishing for us.

Annie, Christy is going to make the cake but I think it will be Duncan Hines. She's nervous about even that. LOL. Poor gal. Thank goodness she feels pretty good about making icing. I appreciate her efforts.

Rob, Christy took a vacation week so we are enjoying that for sure.

Thanks ya'll. It's been a very nice day. We ended up not going today so will try to fit that in while she's still off. We stayed home so that Christy could cook. She made my Fresh Pasta Sauce with eggplant and yellow squash and served it over cheese ravioli. It really turned out great! I love ravioli too. Just had a piece of the cake and it was delish. The icing was a nice buttercream with vanilla and almond extract both. Jessie helped by licking plates. One of my presents was a new ice cream scoop. LOL.. Time to make that creamsicle ice cream. I did buy the oj concentrate. Again, thanks.
