I like mine on sliced toasted bread. Although sometimes, I spread them on a warm flour tortilla, then sprinkle some chopped pecans or peanuts and rolled them up. Sort of like a sweet desert treat after dinner.

Grab a decent baguette and you're good to go.

My kids favorite snack is "Nutella and fingers" LOL! They just scoop a spoonful the scoop the nutella off the spoon with a finger LOLOLOL!

They also like nutella on nilla wafers and graham crackers.

Jessica, if it's your husband's banana, do you eat the Nutella, or does he? And how flexible is he, anyway? LOL

The Monkey Princess just loves the stuff, on graham crackers or in place of frosting on cupcakes, nearly any flavor, and as "filling" between two homemade sugar cookies.

Amanda likes it on a spoon. Ashley and I both prefer plain peanut butter.

Nutella from a spoon, please :-) I created this recipe for the sorghum flour mill just outside of town. It's remained a Christmas Cookie favorite at our house. The next time I make these cookies (which are very thin and crispy), I think I'll make them a little smaller and use two cookies with Nutella spread between them for the ultimate Nutella Sandwich Cookie experience. Maybe I'll push the envelop and sprinkle it with toasted, chopped hazelnuts.

NUTELLA - WHITE SORGHUM FLOUR COOKIES
(Gluten-free)

1/2 c. Nutella Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. white sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. white sorghum flour
1/2 c. dried potato flakes
1/4 c. flaxmeal
1/2 T. cornstarch
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt

Preheat oven to 325°F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, beat Nutella and butter with an electric mixer until light and creamy. Add the sugars and beat until fluffy. Beat in the egg just until mixed.

In a medium bowl, combine the white sorghum flour, dried potato flakes, flaxmeal, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix by hand, only until ingredients are incorporated.

Using a portion scoop, make dough into 1-inch balls. Place on prepared cookie sheets.

Bake about 12 minutes. Remove cookie sheets from the oven and allow the cookies to rest on the sheets for at least 2 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to completely cool

Makes 65, 2-1/2- to 3-inch cookies.

Toasted pound cake.

Waffles. With whipped cream on top.

Macaroons - make sandwiches.

White bread.

I make a cheesecake with grahamcrackers and hazelnuts in the crust i then spread nutella on the top of the cheesecake opposed to fruit

Toast buttered with real butter! Make a sandwich, trim the crust, and cut into triangles. I like to put some peanut butter in with it.

Spread Nutella on vanilla wafers or graham crackers and top with a marshmallow. Then it goes under the broiler until the marshmallow gets how you like it. Yum! Try this one with chunky peanutbutter too! And maybe some sliced bananas.

Another chocolate spread I like is Dark Chocolate Dreams Peanut Butter by The Peanut Butter company. They also make White Chocolate Wonderful and Cinnamon Raisen Swirl, all of which are great.

Wal-Mart has a really good almond flavored sugar cookie I think it's Great Value which is their brand) that makes a great sandwich cookie with nutella between two of them. Used to take them on the pontoon.

My daughter loves nutella spread on french toast. I make the french toast very eggy - with added vanilla. Also on vanilla ice cream - and definitely straight from the spoon.

Not to rain on anyones parade but have you read what the main ingredient of Nutella is.. it's not hazelnuts, it's not skim milk, nor the hint of cocoa, it's not all that goodness the tv commercial touts. It's mainly sugar. Funny the tv commercial doesn't even mention it. LOL

A similar product here in Spain is Nocilla and according to Wikipedia it sells better here than Nutella.
My girls used to have it on bread when they were small. Some folks here spread it on crepes.
It was sold in a reusable drinking glass. Here is an old advert:

That list doesn't give the quantities of each ingredient but here are a couple of Spanish recipes that I've seen online for making it at home, so you can see the proportions:

Recipe #1 - (sorry they are in metric)

100 grams chocolate for melting
100 grams hazelnuts
200 grams sugar
60 grams powdered milk
100 grams milk or liquid cream
40 grams butter

Recipe#2

1 small tin sweetened condensed milk
250 grams margarine or butter
150 grams best quality pure cocoa
150 grams ground hazelnuts

Instructions for making this 2nd recipe just say to mix it all well.
