Well, Pawsi, it's like this. Today isn't a good day to look for anything that might be on the ground as we have four inches of new snow. But I'll tell you what. When spring comes I'll keep an eye for them. Deal? I'll only chase things as far as Beaver! Good one!

Hi Pawsi! Hi Angie! FINALLY we started to thaw last week. There's still nearly two feet of snow on the flat BUT it is thinning around the edges.. There is about five feet of bare ground from the south side of the house and outbuildings and that much around the trees and bushes. Where the cattle are being fed is bare gound and that area is growing. We've had so much snow and cold weather this winter it's a good thing the snow is going slowly. As it is the frost is punched out of the ground in the low places so the water is going into the ground instead of making ice skating rinks. There's at least six to eight inches of ice on the north side of the buildings though and it'll still be there in May I'm sure. LOL Today though it is snowing. There's about three new inches on the ground with more coming tomorrow. One really good thing about this winter is there's been a lot of water in the snow. The Bear River Valley is 112% normal for water. Each day it snows two inches here the Uintas' are getting two feet so there'll be lots of water and lots of water means lots of grass.... Lori

She's not seeing as well as she used to and that thin sock yarn and tiny needles would send her over the edge! She's enjoying not having any projects right now, she had gotten a little OCD over the scrubbies and dishcloths. She even gave me back that skein of very cool yarn that makes the stripes and patterns as you knit, she said she'll never use it for socks and wants me to find a new home for it.
