It is snowing again here in central Indiana. The temperature is 28 and a light snow is coming down! I think most of the day something is going to be falling and it might be a mix of stuff. How is your weather today?

Its 55 right now at 7:30am. Our high is supposed to be 66. I am so ready for the 80's!!! They are saying we will be cloudy all day and might have some drizzle. I will probably stay inside all day except for breakfast. I'm meeting a friend at the local cafÃ© in 30 minutes.

It was about 10 earlier, going to be 35 or so. NO SNOW, bright sun! Still have a lot of snow on the ground in WV.

Kay, I know just how you feel, we had a huge ornamental cherry (45 year old) at the back of our lot taken out last year. It was diseased so it had to go. It's limbs stretched out over a fiberglas roof, a shed and a flower bed behind a low stacked rock wall. They didn't so much as bruise a leaf on a huge ligularia, the solomons seal or a single frond of the sword ferns which were also in that area, not only that they had to drag branches down a narrow winding path edged in columbine, welsh poppies, grasses and ladies mantle. Through my lathhouse down steps, through a gate to the chipper across the road. These guys were my heros worth every penny and more. We got a nice pile of wood for our fireplace out of this too :) Annette

We're in Rhode Island. We are getting the KM products from Ohio as well. I have spoken with KM management before and the man seemed stingy. That incident was where the technician spray glazed a moss/mocha door for the spice cabinet base which was excessively splotchy (could see bare wood through it). It was so far off color that it looked ridiculous - a very light green among 4 dark green doors. He asked me how the tech left the matter. I said, "He pulled out the drawer, sprayed it, waited til it dried then put it back and taped it up". I didn't see it until it was installed and the tape was pulled off. He sent me a new door. But I had to argue for it. Obviously the tech knew the door was a different color. It's been a combination of KD mistakes and poor quality product. We ordered over $25,000 worth of merchandise and there are a lot of miscellaneous pieces for the custom work portions of the kitchen. Without quality control, there was a lot to be sent back. Now KM is going to be even more upset because the contractor just noticed that they sent us a valance for over the sink which connects cabinets on each side of the window. Neither of the bottoms of the right and left side base footings are glazed with the moss/mocha - just bare wood. It will definitely show because it's above our heads. KM spray glaze doesn't match their moss/mocha cabinets AT ALL! Don't know what to do. Alas though, the KD made yet another mistake and the valance is too short to span the distance. Gotta laugh or else I'd always be crying. Several of you pointed out that it may be the KD who is fed up. Good point. I think I will call mgt at HD and also KM to get the real story. I need to try my hand at posting pictures. I have some 35mm photos of some of the damage on a disc which I down loaded to my computer. I also got a second hand digital camera from my neice. I need to learn how to use it and down load and go through the correct procedure to post. I've been straight out with kitchen and family matters. Thanks for advice and support. Best forum ever. FS

OK...Luvs...got three answers on Tolefriends..... Use vinegar and water to clean the area to be painted. Undercoat with JW Undercoat and let it cure one week ( I haven't a clue what JW Undercoat is) Here is where all three differ: 1. Use "Final Coat" to seal 2. Use Krylon spray sealer very lightly 3. Don't use a sealer Also, one of the gals used colored Krylon spray paint the area she was painting. I seem to remember this in the back of my (limited) mind, seeing a scene that was painted on a light blue background that was fanned out at the edges, but it also could have been blended outward to no color. I had one OM planted right at the road, exposed to road salt, plowed snow. It has done very well, but after the brutal winter this year I thought it would be set back or maybe dead. Not so, I even transplanted it (added another and put a new Snakes Eyes in the middle) and all are doing great. Gets morning sun about 8:30 - 9 AM and maybe 1 1/2 hours and then into shade. Jon

I've never seen a weatherman as excited as ours was on the news last night. Why? Because we're finally expecting normal temperatures for the next few days. It should be back up in the 70's with lows in the 50's. Finally!

I'm ready for some 80 degrees too, Maryann.

7:15 and 27 degrees. gonna be sunny!

80 is too hot too! lol 66 is nice.
we've had warm weather here (for us) and lots
of things are blooming and bulbs were coming up,
now everything is getting frozen solid... ruining
all the blooming things!

Right now it's in mid 20s, sun is shining almost as brightly as yesterday, but supposed to get cloudier as the day goes on. I'm sitting here soaking in the sunshine while it's here. Sunday night into Monday starts another round of the nasties....snow, mixed with freezing rain, then maybe all rain. Then the temps go down and Tues/Wed is to be blustery, with snow showers daily. 4 weeks till spring!

No snow here in Central Indiana. The temp is 33Âº. We had an inch of snow overnight but the snow on the streets has all melted. I'm with you marry, enough snow to last me til next winter.

Woke to find a couple of inches of new snow on top of the six remaining from the last storm. More to come: 6 - 12 inches Sun/Mon. Only the man who plows our driveway is happy this winter.

Yesterday, we had snowflakes that looked like marshmallows!
Couple hours later, I was driving up the street and watching people out shoveling 4-5 inches of heavy snow off their walks in short sleeves! Seemed so strange! Got to work 23 mi away this morning and no snow at all....like night and day!
