Wow this show is really addicting! I don't know if her organization skills are to be admired or if she's a little crazy. Can't decide.

She sure owns a lot of stuff. I would be tempted to get rid of all of it and just buy new. It would be easier than going through everything.

Doesnt seem to plagued with the notion of moderation. I dont mean to be cruel, but I dont understand why that much money-- for the best in plastic surgery doesnt bring a more refined, natural and elegant look. Or was she shooting for the look she has, I dont get it. I also didnt get the doll collection. To each his own.

I watched it when it aired a few weeks ago, and felt like, "What a waste of a life..." at the end of it. Here is this woman with gobs and gobs of money and all the time in the world, and she is collecting beanie babies and commercially made dolls?!! It may just be that she didn't talk about any great traveling she'd done, or passions beyond her house, but she seemed terribly sad and lonely to me.

I have to agree with Bestyears... I really can't watch someone who has spent so much money and time on the material things. Do something good with all that money. Who in the world needs that much space and stuff, and who would advertise so much excess. Just my opinion.

I was able watch this last night, thanks to this thread. I only watched a bit (recorded) but so far, I feel like the money is monkey on her back--she has to spend time watching her warehouse and monitoring the build. I always think money = freedom but maybe not.

For some bizarre reason I found it fascinating - probably because it was so alien to me. What amazed me is that she said that she had no idea of what was on a blueprint and that they left off an entire wing when she realized how huge the house was going to be.

And did anyone else wonder why the Prince Charles bedroom was so small? She did call is a suite so I'm assuming there were more connecting rooms - but the actual BR was small.

I wish I had seen this show. As a rule, I don't care for reality TV, but I think I would have found this interesting. Maybe they will replay it again.

I never knew anything about Candy until I looked her up. I think she looks pretty darn good for 66, unless she looked a lot worse on the show than in the pictures I saw.
