Where I live it would be a hurricane.

Tornados - not where I live, but for my daughter and son-in-law in Tulsa. 3rd floor apartment and no basement or shelter! I think it should be a law in 'tornado alley' that apartment complexes provide storm shelters!

Non really. Floods wouldn't affect me where I live, neither hurricanes. Earthquakes are very minor in Oklahoma, and tornados are common, but I am not really afraid of them.

No, we don't have a tornado shelter, but a fairly good hallway to go in to.

We also live on a hillside, on the down side of it, and on the north side. Both those are favorable for tornados to miss you.

I do know, where I can go if the warnings are strong, and I feel the need to seek shelter.

A raging wildfire would scare the begeebers out of me. We live in the woods and the only fire dept nearby is volunteer and it's really gone downhill around here since Woody and his friends retired from it.

Whenever I see a glow on the horizon, I get spooked. Usually it's just a sunset, but you never know. Once it was a harvest moon that cast an orangish glow over everthing and I wasn't aware it was going to occur and I barely slept that night.

Fire- It just scares the pants off me.

I don't think I have any fear in that department, although I do have a long pry-bar in the basement in case of a tornado plopping the house down on me!

We normally don't experience severe (natural!) conditions in the NYC metro area, but I am very frightened of lightning. Remember as a small child that a neighbor's home was struck through the children's bedroom window. We all walked over to see it the next day; very scary for an 8-year-old.

I can't think of one that does not scare the beejeebers out of me.

I grew up around earthquakes..even slept through a few.

After leaving California for Texas, I remember the tornado drills at school scared me..I laugh about that now. :)

Tornado since that is most likely here in MO.. of course they say we are due for a BIG earthquake anytime. Fire scares me too...

It'd be a tornado for me too. If they're forecasting rough weather for the weekend, I will not go to the cabin.

None of them. I have a basement and have no fear of tornadoes striking my town. My house was built in 1933 and many houses nearby are 100 years old.

Hmm.. I live in a hurricane area, but the Outer Banks kind of takes it on the chin for us. We had a devastating tornado here many months ago. I'd have to say tornado. You just don't know where they are going to come down and travel. Hurricanes can be tempermental but you can still track them.

I don't think I'd be afraid to die in a volcano blast/eruption. I would be ash before I had time to change my mind.
