An awakening from winter...warm weather is on its way!

Being able to open the back door for the dogs and leave it open! The warm sun and all the wonderful blooms on everything.

that beautiful spring green color - you know, the new growth green - it's only there in the spring. Oh and the smell of the earth - you can finally smell it again after the cold winter months. I love Spring - it's my favorite season :)

I was going to say the bare patches of earth, but we had a little snow overnight, and there are no bare patches....again! I guess it would be the smells of earth.

Warmer weather.

So many colorful flowers and trees beginning to bloom.

Linda

WARMTH, and also being able to keep the doors open for the dogs, so they can go on the porches.
Daffodils, robins chirping all over the place.

My daughter answered: It's no longer winter!

I say, it is greening up everywhere!!!! Yeah

Moni

Warm, no snow (hopefully some day :-), gardening, birds, having the chance to get my hands dirty again...

Couldn't name just one!

Beautiful wildfowers everywhere. I haven't seen any yet this year and may not because of our draught.

The smell of warm earth.

That winter is over! I love spring and fall.

I agree with those who said, the flowers and trees starting to green up, and poke through the soil. It means warm weather is coming back.
Leslie

The new green buds on the trees. The stick scenery is blossoming!!!! Yippee.

Lighter later. Warmer weather.

Green!

The beauty of what is coming alive and being able to air out the house very well every morning without becoming a popsicle.

Tulips and daffodils, that lovely fresh green of new baby leaves on the trees, the pointy heads of my hosta just peeking through, not having to wear a heavy jacket, gloves and a scarf, etc.

It's all going to have to wait awhile as we are forecast to have a "winter" storm tomorrow with anywhere from 20 - 40 cm of snow.

Happy Spring to us all!

Going to work in daylight.
Coming home and seeing daylight after I get there.
No heavy jackets.
Getting out of the house!

The warmth that the longer hours of sunlight brings ...

... (from a guy who, living northerly in the Great Lakes area, has had only two refills of furnace oil, the second way before it was needed, and still has 5/8 of a tank).

Wearing six levels of clothing over one's torso while keeping the house about 60 does get a bit "wearing" - don't be surprised if you get a "cool" reception at my house in the wintertime (along with a wide smile ... and a warm handshake).

ole joyful

Today, I'm happy my yard man and his boys are here to clean up my yards..Spring cleanup is a good thing.

Now, I'm ready to enjoy hanging new bird feeders and getting ready to see and hear all pretty Spring things. :)

The warmer air, and how excitable the dogs get.

Sitting outside feet propped up with a good book and Ice Tea. Admiring my newly planted flowers and Dogs outside playing chase.

It's calving season at our house. All our heifers are having their babies. Right now we have 3 bottle babies and I love going home putting on my flip flops, sitting on the deck and bottle feeding the baby cows. They are SO cute!

The clothes basket not being so full.
Spring brings a lot of work for the out of shape.

No more snow for at about six months!

Less laundry!

Hanging some of the laundry our on the line.

Purple Martins

Not being cold.

The hummingbirds! Got my feeders out a little late but already have several.

Warmer weather, sunshine, green things popping up out of the earth.

Fresh air, new growth everywhere! Oh yes, the purple martins too.
I love springtime

Everything!

The fresh air, breezes, the warm - but not hot - weather, the new flowers growing, birds chirping...

I love spring, because it is not too humid, the flowers and trees are blooming and we can plant a garden.

Sue

Ditto, ditto, ditto (except the bit about the hummingbirds - we don't have them).

And I'm not going to miss that blast of cold air first thing in the morning when I open the back door to let Henry out. Warmth, bring it on!

Everything. We had over 280 inches of snow last winter and there is not one thing about spring that I'm not happy to see! I love gardening, spring flowers, warm weather, being able to spend time outdoors, the smell and feel of dirt on my hands.... everything!

Warmth, smell of flowers, greening, robins, longer days.

Everything is green again!

My daughter says, the birds are singing.
