I don't drink coffee, and I don't have tea in the morning. If I have anything, I stop at Tim Horton's for a hot chocolate on the way to work, especially if I haven't had breakfast.

Since I hardly ever go anywhere in the morning, if I want it, I have to make it. Or Woody makes it. :)

My TV is small. Snowy picture. Went to the neighbour's. They said whatever I had to say ... say it quick(ly) ... cause they were busy in the LR ... watching the inauguration! So I watched it, too. Congratulations on living up to the inherent wisdom of your forefathers and having the grace and courage to choose a person of mixed race as your leader. We all need to set high goals for ourselves ... to seek excellence, as I said elsewhere relative to Mr. Sullenbergr bringing that dead-engined airliner down on the Hudson. And to reach out to others, sharing rather than grasping. We, who live in multi-cultural societies, can carry messages of understanding and brother-/sisterhood to many parts of the world where there is great need for it. Socks and slippers in the winter and socks or barefoot in the summer. I have wood floors and they are cold. Like Flamey said, if you wear socks and have a dog, your socks get wet.

I have enough Irish blood in me to remember my Grandpa doing jigs around the dining room table. LOL My Great Grandma Paul on my Mom's maternal side was an Irish Kennedy, My Grandpa's Scottish clan was banished to Ireland for sheep poaching which is why his last name started with an McC instead of a MacC. You can tell we have a lot of "black Irish" (mix of Spanish and Irish) genes in our blood - well not mine but those of my Mom and her siblings and most of my siblings. They are lucky and have darker skin and dark hair while myself and my brother Donald were the fair haired, rosey cheeked children. My Mom and her siblings were born in Scotland. There is also Irish blood on both sides of my Dad's family. Although he and 2 of his siblings were born in Canada my Grandpa, Grandma and my Uncle were born in England. Anne

Nope - Primer Class ... started at Easter, went to First Class in that fall. The Jr. and Sr. each of 2nd, 3rd & 4th ... ... for eight classes in all. One-room rural school, less than half mile walk from home - Miss Jean Abbott, a nice lady, was the teacher throughout. Many rural schools scattered around the country - no school buses then. Fast-learner senior kids helped the junior kids with their work - partly to keep them out of mischief, possibly? How would you like to manage eight groups at the same time in one room? When our children were in elementary school, they started this wonderful new concept - four classes in one room, separated by dividers, with a teacher for each. I said that it smelled a lot similar to parts of the old one-room school, to me. ole joyful P.S. Since the "definately" that I see around here so frequently is definitely not part of my vocabulary, is that the modern way of spelling ... with our way being sort of dinosaurish? o j

I make myself a big mug of tea first thing in the morning. If I am going out to a meeting or something, I usually stop at the Irving station around the corner to get a cup of coffee to take with me.

We have two coffee makers. I get the coffee ready at night...and I have 2 cups before I leave for work and I take one with me.

Rarely drink coffee or hot tea, but I go to the kitchen every morning to pour a nice cold glass of orange juice. When I was working I would often stop by Sonic and get a coke to sip on the way to work.

Don't drink coffee or hot tea. In the morning, it's water for me. Right from the spigot. Yes, I get it myself--LOL!

Neither. I don't drink either in the morning. Weened of coffee eons ago, when the caffeine started bothering my stomach.

My first cup, I either go to Dunkin Donuts drive-thru or to a local diner. After that, I'll make a pot at home and drink it during the day. Thanks for asking!

About eight miles to the nearest commercial stuff, and on quite a few days I don't travel - so if I want some, I make it ...

... except on Thursdays when I usually attend the ROMEO (Retired Old Men Eating Out) club at church, where we drink coffee ... and I often go without breakfast.
