I am very disappointed that I can't watch it live as I have other commitments today - volunteering this morning, committee meeting this afternoon, and choir this evening. I'll be watching the re-runs on CNN after 10:30 p.m..

In my living room. DH and I are hoping that our boys will be able to watch it at school. If not, we are taping it for them.

Would have watched part of it, but Twinkie has another test on his back today. We'll be gone for most of the day.

Like deemarie5500, I'll be at work and won't be able to watch. We've been advised not to watch it on our desk computers because streaming video will bog everything down.

Just saw Joe Biden get sworn in but now I have to run to the store and bank. At the rate it's going I may be back long before Obama gets sworn in.

I thought I was going to miss most of the coverage today, including the swearing in. I was on a field trip with my kids. Turns out, we got back to the school just in the nick of time. The entire school was watching, that was surreal! So I actually watched on the TV in DD's 3rd grade classroom.

Yes,yes,yes. I've had MSNBC on since 5:30 am. What a thrill! It looks cold in Washington, I'm glad I can see it from my nice warm house. And I have a bathroom and snacks available. . .

We, who live in multi-cultural societies, can carry messages of understanding and brother-/sisterhood to many parts of the world where there is great need for it.

No, I slept until 1:20 CST. I hardly ever watch innaugurals anyway. a simple swearing in in the oval office would have been ok with me. giving a $1.00 to 170 million homeless people on the streets would have been fine.

I watched a little bit of it until Aretha Franklin came on. Then I went to the mall.
I will be glad when all the hype is over. One president is the same as another to me. I'll wait until I see the results of what this one does. The weight of the world must be on his shoulders today.

I was driving someplace in the western panhandle of Texas. I listened to it on the radio. Sure was a lot of hoopla on the talk radio circuit afterwards.

I watched a lot of it on msnbc.com at work. Now I am watching at home, while waiting for dinner to arrive. I am not cooking and missing any of this.

I was at home with all three tvs on meanwhile taping most of the inauguration for my grandchildren.
I did not get to tape the parade because I fell asleep. I am now watching a special on CBS about the the Inauguration.
He sure gave a wonderful speech today and he is just awesome.
