Does the new Survivor show start tomorrow? I hope to watch it does anyone else?

Is Boston Bob on this show? I know he was the winner on one of the first Survivor shows and ended up marrying one of the other contestants..her name escapes me.. he came from the next town over rom where I live.

Yes, Boston Rob is on the new show, but not his wife, Amber. I think it starts tomorrow, (Thursday) and I am anxious to start watching it again! We always do dinner for our survivor friends and look forward to it every week!

I can't believe Natalie gave an idol to Sandra. What an idiot. Does she think Sandra will be loyal to her, save her?! NOPE. Ben, you spilled your guts. Wth??? These people are not playing like seasoned players, winners. Did you notice on the first challenge, fighting for the floatation ring in the water, Sandra never took a turn? Then in the next challenge, who sat out? Sandra! I wonder if they will say on the next challenge you can't sit out the same person 2 challenges in a row. She is just soooooo worthless, ugh. I don't know if I can keep watching, until she's voted out. Hopefully soon.

The first 20 seasons kept our interest but after so many years of watching endless selfish backstabbing behavior we switched over to watching politicians in action for the same type of entertainment. Both shows should have have run their course by now.

Judi, that video of the Amazing Race was fun to watch. Thanks for sharing. I have often tried to place myself in the contestant's shoes on both Survivor and AR and wonder how I would react in a situation. I don't think I could maintain my cool, unfortunately. I kept trying to get DH and our son to apply for the AR, I thought they would do great. My husband is definitely a Macguyver type who seemingly instinctively can figure out a way to do something the most efficient and easiest way and my son is sharp as a tack with a photographic memory and language skills. They were never too interested but now that hubs is retired......ha ha, he is probably not physically able to run around like that anymore. I know I'm not!

I don’t ever watch Survivor, but was happy to see AR back to the format of using ’regular’ people and not celebrities as participants. I think the reason it seems to drag for the first coiple of episodes is the continual introduction of the contestants. they seem more focused on you knowing their backgrounds than what is happening.

It's gonna be a great season and this will prove who actually is the best of the best at this game!! Looking forward to seeing just how they all "manage" each other knowing that they've all played before. Should be a VERY interesting and exciting season.

Funny I'm remembering Boston Rob as coming in second. Didn't he marry the girl that actually won...I have my box set to record.

Her name was/is a Amber and he proposed on the show ...the finale before they knew who was going to win.

So is Russell going to be there? If so, I just think he's going to get his clock cleaned by those before him. How about him and coach together! Looking forward to this tomorrow.

yea, I loved Rupert too. I think he will quickly smell the rat in Russell. Can't wait to see the outcome on that.
Coach is bad, but not as bad as Russell.
This should be a really good season!!

I'm hoping for a good season, too. After getting tired of reality TV, I missed several seasons, including the ones with Rupert and Boston Rob/Amber.

I'm going to guess that Coach and Russell will attempt to team up, but they won't be able to abide one another. Can't wait to see what happens. LOL

I've always like Cirie. Froms jenni's link, Rupert has the most fan votes with Russell not far behind him and JT. Coach has very few votes!

IMO, Coach and Russell will either be like Mutt & Jeff, or a cat and mouse.

I think Russell is going to be on it, isn't he? I wonder how long though. Also, his father is a friend of my husband's and he has been in the hospital for a couple of weeks, and almost died...I think while they were filming when it happened.

Coach is more annoying than Russell. Love him or hate him Russell did play a great game.

Russell was the most deserving on his season. I love the Heroes versus Villains theme. Eventually they will merge and have to make alliances with one another.

Can you see Russell and Rupert bonding and taking it all? LOL

I don't mind Boston Rob being on as long as he leaves "little miss whiney" at home.

I will be watching for the first time in many years...cheering for Boston Rob...He and his wife Amber became parents of a baby girl recently. She was instrumental in his decision to do the series again.
