Comments (3)I saw this too. Very disappointing. We've had our Samsung Refrigerator for a few years now and am so happy with it, we just bought a Samsung gas range. Now I can't help but feel a bit nervous.......See MoreGetting a new washing machine - thoughts on Samsung?
Comments (15)"ilovepie: How can you be sure your kenmore is made by lg?" Kenmore model numbers are in the format xxx.xxxxxxxx ... where the first three digits before the period is a code for the source manufacturer. A list of codes can be found at several online sites by searching "sears manufacturer codes" or the like. http://www.appliance411.com/parts/sears.shtml LG laundry is 796. The FULL model number must be referenced, possibly from the label ON the machine if it can't be found elsewhere. SKU/stock numbers, item numbers, and online catalog numbers are not the full model number. Sometimes the model can be gleaned by searching SearsPartsDirect.com for a partial number such as 40172, which may return a list of matches....See MoreAre new Samsung FlexWash / FlexDry built as poorly as 10 years ago?
Comments (6)I have had a top of the line at the time Samsung washer and dryer for 9 years. Only one issue - 2 years ago to replace the heating element in the dryer and that is it. Not a lot of lint the in the dryer housing per the above post. So far been pleased. I have not dealt with their customer service - used a local repair company for the repair. You might want to look at Electrolux as I have seen good reviews in the laundry forum....See MoreAnyone know anything about Samsung laundry machine?

It's fairly common that there's some residual water remaining in them after a cycle is run. Is that the case regards to your problem? Residual water *MUST* be dumped out before the next use of those products, otherwise adding them will raise the liquid level high enough that it will immediately run out. It's not necessary to dump the residual water if bleach or softener is not used on a successive load....See Moreherring_maven
