What type of pan for pound cake?

User

I know there is a cookware forum but it's not heavily posted on. Yesterday I made a Million Dollar Pound Cake and it ran over the top of the tube pan - (didn't have a 10-inch one). So this tube pan that I've been using forever is the kind that the tube fits in a spring-form pan and it also has another plain piece that you can use for cheesecake (without the tube). I'd noticed that it has been leaking lately and decided to invest in another one. Couldn't find that kind but they had angel food pans - but after getting it home I'm now wondering - can I use that for pound cake? Will it leak? I've never made an angel food cake or a chiffon cake, etc. and probably won't ever so did I screw up? And I also have bundt pans which I always regret trying to use because no matter what I do they stick.
