We just completed a Master Bath reno, and I bought all my major plumbing fixtures at faucet.com and faucetdirect.com (they are sister companies under the build.com umbrella, which also has lighting.com, etc.) I can't say enough positive things about the customer service I received there. If you call them (vs order online), you will be given a specific person to be your contact, which is helpful. However, even when I did not speak specifically w/ my contact guy, I received prompt, helpful, polite service. Fast shipping, huge selection, able to track my packages, just had a great experience. (Disclaimer: I have no affiliation w/ the websites listed above, just wanted to promote a business that appears to be truly customer-oriented) Oh, and they will price match other websites. I only needed to do that w/ one of my orders and they promptly took care of that for me.

I purchased 3 Kohler sinks online from Home Depot because it was the cheapest, delivered in 3 days with no problems. Home Depot and Lowes carry quality products however most of their high end items are online, if it is the same model# then it is exactly the same product. Two weeks ago I purchased bath fixtures with Amazon because they had the best price, no problems. I have been a fan of Amazon for some time now, never have had any problems with them but I also want the best deal. I wanted to buy a light fixture at Ferguson's but it was more than I wanted to spend. I checked online right from their store on my phone, showed the sales person how much it was on Amazon and he sold it to me for $30.00 cheaper including tax and shipping. I still have not tried homeclick and curious if anyone has opinions about them?

I have tried many as we are working our way through mudroom/bathroom/kitchen/bathroom/bathroom/etc.. I have had good luck using Home Depot's online site, with which I feel comfortable because I can resolve problems locally. We have ordered a bunch of Daltile of various types, faucets, and just recently a Kohler toilet with no issues. Shipping has been quick and items have arrived safely either to my home or the store. I have also used Wayfair.com although they are catch-as-catch-can for plumbing and tile -- some things they just don't carry. However, they have great customer service. After ordering a lot of various items I got an e-mail out of the blue from a sales person who identified herself as my "renovation consultant." I tested her by asking about a medicine cabinet installation kit that wasn't on their website although the cabinets were. She tracked it down and I got it in a few days. Other minor issues have also been resolved quickly, such as my ordering bathroom sinks in the wrong color by accident -- I had the replacement sinks even before they could have received the ones I sent back, no restocking charge, and they even restored my rewards points. They are based in New England so shipping has been very quick for me in Maine but shouldn't be bad to Florida.

No, this is not a bait and switch situation. The number of items shown just below the large "add to cart" button is the TOTAL available, not what is available at the clearance price. Below the top "add to cart" button there is a second "add to cart" button, just above that and above where it shows the clearance price it says "X available as clearance items". It's very clear if you pay attention. It is very unusual for them to have more than one of any specific item at the clearance price, since the clearance department is comprised of returned items (so you may receive an opened box if you order a clearance item). If you really want to be certain of something, don't order it online, get on the phone and talk to a human being, because it is simply the nature of online shopping that the website may not keep up with the actual inventory (especially if someone else placed their order moments before you hit that "submit order" button). I have talked to human beings at Bellacor several times and have been happy with them every time.
