Most definitely NOT ME!

Today, GS had his monthy dermotology appt, BUT his little sister, didn't have a sitter and guess what.

The energy of a 15 year old and that of a 5 year old combined! Can wear out the Energy Bunny!

From 11:30 until after 5! Going and going and ..........

I know what you mean....I have watched my now 6 yr old granddaughter since she was born while her parents work and still have her 4 days a week after school. Now I also have my 3 yr old grandson two days a week. I soooooo look forward to the weekends! It's truly exhausting!!

Hi Plllog! "That is, I know it's possible, but might not be in your budget." See, there's the crux of it. This little beverage center idea of mine was not in the original budget. (Nor, alas, were new drywall in the livingroom and halls, the gorgeous walnut top on my used cabinet island, the matching gorgeous top that will soon be on the new media cabinet and the near full gut of the bathroom.) And we're still determined to get through remodeling our ugly duckling without taking out a loan or dipping into savings. Conventional wisdom says: Wait until the coffers are full again but that's so hard to do. First off, I'm a cheapskate. Even if the goose who laid the golden egg waddled up onto my deck and built a nest, I'm not sure I would willingly pay someone to mess up the walls I just paid to fix. Second, I'm not quite cheap enough. My new kitchen is starting to look pretty good but, gosh, it would look so much better if the microwave and coffee maker didn't take up so much room on that one counter. I'm willing to spend a little bit more to change that, especially since I'm going to have a piece of countertop leftover that should be just the right size. Still, it's nice to know that it's possible. Maybe when the coffers ARE full again I'll put a tile counter outside on my deck to shade the golden goose should she happen to wander by ;) Thanks for your help!

Kay, how are you? I haven't been around for a while, I had to take a break and get myself together. To everyone I want to tell you that I am so sorry for your loss and sadness, it is the worst pain anyone can have BUT it does get better, I promise. My heart and soul mate died 14 months ago and I wanted to die with him, I was in so much pain and so scared of what was going to happen to me without him; life must go on. I was told that it doesn't get better but it gets different and they were right. I still weep and some days are bad but I have more good days as time goes on. Life won't seem so alien after a while, I just felt like I didn't belong here any more, not in my home, my job or this world but I did finally settle with my feet back on the ground. It's not easy but you have to push youself to live and it eventually gets easier. Please take care of yourselves, get help if you need it and work hard at being strong, we will never forget and we will always love them and happier days are ahead. God Bless all, Mav.

nwdrip- Thanks for chiming in! I am thankful for any advice and I appreciate you commenting on my thread. I think painting the back of the cabs dark brown would be really cool with some colorful dishes. Suero- I never would have picked a rug like that, but you are right, it works. My only thing is that I am, in general, trying to avoid red. I had red accents all over my last apartment, and I want to go for a different feel. However, I get to see what a teal looks like, and how patterns interact with my curtains, so thank you!!! I have continued to look at other rugs. Hubby has been almost no help. He is very picky on what he wants, but he won't help me look. I have browsed through approximately 4000 rugs by now, and every suggestion I have had, he has shot down. :( Here are some of my favorites right now. Please tell me what you guys think: A B C D E F G Hubby wants a border around the edge, doesn't want flowers, only wants a hint of color, doesn't want stripes, doesn't want beige. Please note that most of *my* faves at least have one of those things. This one that I posted earlier appears to still be hubby's favorite: But he's not sold on it.

Type K thermalcouple probe is made generally using nickel and chromium bi-metal. It is rust-proof and heat-proof. The problem mostly is not related to the probe. There is most likely internal calibration logic built in to maintain a +- 1 degree accuracy in temperature readings. The fact that you are getting a 1771 degree reading leads me to believe that there are two possible causes: 1. The LCD display has been damaged as I stated in my previous post. 2. There is moisture which leaks a small amount of current to the LCD causing it to display odd numbers. LCD requires extreme small amount of current to display. Hopefully it is not #1. You may swear somemore if thatâÂÂs the case. dcarch

LOL, Glenda, I was happy when my daughter arrived on New Years Day. I had the kids overnight, and then for breakfast and time after.

When Lori got there, I could make my lunch casserole, that we took out to Mel and Judys....

I was tired, by the time it was time to ride our bikes. :)

That's why I'm a big fan of having your babies in your early to mid-twenties, like we did back in the 60's and 70's. Then the grandparents are in their mid-40's and both mom and grandma have more energy!!
