If it really is a treadmill, you might want to hold out for awhile. If he/she is like most anyone else, the interest will fade and he/she will stop using it. If you do ask that person to move it, be aware that he/she may move it somewhere that could be even more bothersome (like over your bedroom). Also, maybe it just needs a mat under it (a good exercise mat can help to absorb some of the sound). But maybe it is something else - could it be a washing machine and dryer? I don't know too many people that can sustain a couple of hours on a treadmill.

I have one from way back.....The Jane Fonda Treadmill. It is a good alternative to the very expensive motorized treadmills. The fact that mine folds up, also helps. The difference (and its a big one) is that it takes a lot more energy to manually move the belt. Your workout is much more intense. Keep the underside of the belt well lubercated with WD-40. My came with a music cassette that helped keep me motivated. If you have no time for the gym and don't want to shell out thousands for a professional one, then the manual is the way to go.

I have allergy shiners. I like the Bare Escentuals with their special application brush for concealing. The brush seems to be the secret, but the makeup is light and easy to apply. It is the base make up with this special brush that does the trick.

Sometimes I feel it is kinda like a TV in the room....why bother trying to hide it? It is what it is - it is part of life especially if men are in the house. There are so many things I would do differently if my DH weren't in this house but he is so I have a very masculine den ~ makes him happy. He doesn't ask for much and puts up with me!! LOL He considers his speakers works of art - I wanted to have an ET designed to hide his speakers (I did atleast get the 24"cube subwoofer hidden) but he wouldn't hear of it. He also likes to see his components. Perhaps a box built around the speakers with speaker cloth or metal grill painted the same color as the walls? The sub could go in a basket or you could put it under a table or something. Smiles:)
