We call my mom's parents Nana and Papa and my dad's parents Grandma and Grandpa.

(sigh) I never got to know my grandparents. When the last died I was so young that I don't remember them.

I called my grandparents Mama and Papa because that's what my aunts (one only 5 years older than I was) called them. I was brought up by those grandparents. I never knew the ones on my father's side.
We are called Grandmom and Granddad by one set of grandkids, Mawmaw and Dandan by another.

Grandma. Never knew either grandfathers or father's mothers. Mom's mom didn't speak much English, but she loved having us kids around and mom would have to translate what we said and vice versa.

My stepgrands call me GrandMary, and their blood grandmother Grandma. My husband is Grandpa, and their stepgrandfather is GrandAl, LOL. Works for us.

I grew up with one set of Grandparents. They were Gramma and Grampa.

DGS Hunter calls me Nana Connie (he also has Nana Nell)He calls DH Papa.
DGS Drew calls me Nana and DH Grandpa (we are the only Grandparents he knows)
Now DGD Maddie usually calls me Nana. (she has a bunch of Grandma's and Grandpas) Sometimes she calls me Gramma and DH is always Grampa.

I don't care what they call me, I always answer! LOL

We called my father's parents Granny and Gramp. My mother's parents were Nanny and Poppy.

My DH and I are Mema and Pepa. I couldn't wait to be Grandma but first DGD called me Mema. I wasn't so sure about this, but I was happier with it when she named DH Pepa. We have seven grandchildren and they all call us Mema and Pepa.

I had 3 sets (Mom's parents were divorced and remarried) and all were called Grandma and Grandpa.

My paternal grandparents and my maternal grandmother died before I was born; I only saw my maternal grandfather one time when I was very small, too young to call him anything. I always felt deprived.

My grandchildren call me Mamaw, and my DH was Granddaddy.

At Christmas my 8 year old DGGS was here, the first time he has been around all the family. We tried to explain Greats to him. He knows my name is Sue of course, so he asked if I was Great Sue!

Our grand kids call us Grannie and Poppa except for DD#2's 10 year old son.He calls me GeeGee.I have no idea why.Don't know what the twins will call us.Sometimes it's GaGa,or GeeGee.Rowdy calls me what sounds like Nonie sometimes or Gaee.They both have Poppa down pat!LOL

Always Grandma and Grandpa, but my own grandsons call us Gramma and Grampa and Grammajo is their other grandmother. They call my Mom Great Gramma.

I only had one Grandma that I saw regularly and I called her Grandma. The other I seldom saw and she didn't speak English so never communicated with her. Both my Grandpas died before I was born. I am called Grandma Sue

We called my Moms mother Mum,her dad died when she was 8 so we didn't know him. and my dads parents Mum (or "Mum over home"she lived next door ,if we were talking about her)and Dad.I call my mom...Mother and called my Dad Father.Don't know why....my sister calls my Mom mother too but she called my dad....Daddy.Her kids call my mom Gram and they called my dad Pap.

My mom's dad died when she was 16 and my dad's dad died when I was a baby. I called one of my grandma's Grandma Bender and the other one didn't want to be called grandma, she wanted to be called by her last name which was Heide.

I had one grandmother and she was Grandma. The one grandfather was Paw. My parents were called Grandma and Granddaddy. Ken's mom was Granny to the grands, and we are Grandma and Grandpa to ours.

My grandparents (the three that were living when I was born) were called Grandma and Grandpa and then their last names after it. My maternal grandmother I sometimes called, "Mamaw or Grandma Gertie".

I'm Mamaw and Twinkie is Papaw to all of our grandkids. I wish I had started having the kids call me Gert or Gertie. It's very close to my real first name and it would have been neat to have honored my grandma. However, kids usually call you what they want to! LOL

I'm lucky enough to still have my wonderful Nanny. She is who I am most like, and I completely adore her!

We are Grandma and Grandpa to our GS (age four). His own parents are Mama and Papa. GS calls his mother's parents Busha and Jaja. They are third generation Polish-American, continuing the Polish traditions. Our DS's young Polish-American nieces gave him a title similar to the Polish for Uncle. He's 'Buick Dave'! LOL

DH's parents were past 40 when they adopted him as an infant. Their parents were all deceased before he was talking.

My mother's mother lived with us for many years. I called her Grandma. she was widowed before I was born. My father's parents were Grandmother and Grandpa -- I think I saw them twice after my parents divorced when I was six.

Only our mothers were part of our DS's life. They were both called Grandma, distinguished from one another by the addition of their first names. (Example: Grandma Mary.)

I can only remember seeing my father's mother once, so do not remember what I called her, probably just Grandma and his dad I called Grandpa. My maternal grandmother was Grandma Nanny and my paternal grandfather was just Grandpa.

My grandchildren always called my mother Grandma Grandma.

My mothers parents were Gammie and Granddad. My father's mother was Nana (didn't know his father).

My grandchildren call me MiMi and they called my late husband pop-pop. They call my father GGPa (for great-grandfather).

I spent a day with my grandfather (my mother's side). We fished all afternoon. I called him grandpa John.

I met my grandmother (my father's side) once and spent one day and and an evening with her. When I asked how I should address her, she told me her real name was Rebecca and that my sister and I should call her "Becky".

Paternal: Grammie & Grampie

Ma-maw Green and Ma-Maw Yellow--they each had a porch swing so we called them the color of the swing because they both had the same last name. We also had a Pa-Paw. These were all my moms parents and grandparent. We called Daddy's parents--Grandma and Grandpa.

Grandma and Grandpa is what we called my mom's parents.
I called my dad's mom Grandma...but I don't ever remember seeing her more than a few times. However, we did write to each other regularly.
My boys called my mom, Nini. And we have no idea where that came from. It just happened. Their dad's parents were both gone when they were born, so I don't know what they would have been called.

I don't know what we would want to be called for sure. Guess time will tell. My older son and his girlfriend don't want kids and my younger son and his girlfriend will probably have a few.

I was lucky to have still had Grandparents until I was in my late 20's. I grew up with 2 sets of Grandparents and a Great Grandmother.

My Mom was a Granny to her grandkids and my Sister Liz is Grandma Liz to hers.
