Precooking Boneless Pork Ribs

I have been looking at recipes for barbecued pork ribs. There are several that either boil or bake in the oven the ribs before finishing on the grill. All use different temperatures and different amounts of time in the oven. What would be the best method, temp and time to produce moist ribs? I'm sure someone here will know. I am doing this for Sunday dinner. Would it work to precook on Saturday and then finish on the grill Sunday? Thanks.
