I Can Not Come and Play on the KT today~~

Until I finish my online traffic school~~~~I of course have waited til the last 5 days to do it~~meh~~that's the way I roll;)

I am half way done I think~~~I planned doing it this way while DH is recovering from his surgery BUT I really planned to start it Friday.

I got a red light camera ticket making a right turn going 17MPH~~~my town is voting this month or next month on getting rid of these. They have gotten rid of over half POOH I bet they vote to get rid of this one after I paid 500BUCKS and traffic school!!!

OhWell I am a law breaker~~~must get back to school;)

Most Irish songs are written in the keys of G or D. One plays them on whistles designed to play in those keys or one fudges. Recorders also have a limited range. I think for D and G songs, an alto recorder works best. You can start the tune on a different key and "find" the rest of the melody from there, thereby changing the sharps.......or modify the song to work around it, or buy another instrument with a different range, or try a different song. ;-). Fippled instruments do not have the unlimited range of something like a stringed instrument or keyboard. But when you work with folk music, that's not usually an issue. You are free to interpret the notes to what will work for you. It sounds a lot more complicated than it is, actually.

I finally played in the dirt today

I was so looking forward to the warm temps here today here in Columbus. However, yesterday we had a raccon with distemper show up and the darn thing evaded the UAPD. Nothing like the local police with a maglite and a gun rooting through your norwegian spruce. Officer was very nice, polite and professional. Sick racoon 1 - police - nothing. So cats had to be kept in and they were furious. Rats! errr. Racoon. Poor little sweetie - those darn things are so fuzzy and cute and what beautiful eyes and fuzzy ears.

Karen, thanks again for all your sweet comments. J, thanks, I can hardly wait to see your crow scarecrow. Sounds sooo cute. I think you hit it, the glasses are "tipsy." I seen this some where and thought it was kinda cute. Yes, I'm a copy cat and like different things. Frou, glad you liked the table and scarecrow gal. I have so many hats in my crafts but this was the only one out at the time. Lynn, I hope your right and DGD enjoys this little table with her sc's on it. The brown plates are Home, the white are Federal and the bowls are Target. The gourds were from TJ Maxx. Jane, please come play. Try to be here tomorrow night for the party around 6. Maybe you can load the bus and you gals can shop on the way! I'm hoping I get to keep DGD all weekend. She will rearrange them several times I'm sure. This reminds me I need to move the treadmill I put in front of her kitchen before she see's it. It's been "Just For Looks" more than anything else! If I don't get my rear in gear, I won't be able to enjoy all the Christmas candy this year.Hum... Punk

It has nothing to do with those of us that are using the Internet Elephant (by choice in my case) as you call it nor does it have anything to do with garden web or the antivirus or spybot or whatever everyone is using. I have firefox and other browsers. They are all doing the same thing. Cnet is reporting that AGV is experiencing a problem and it is not just at Garden Web. a quote from them........."It is not infected. This is a problem with AVG and it is happening on other sites as well. AVG is notorious for false positives"

I am all FOR those cameras! I can't imagine why anyone would want them removed. Red light accidents are a big problem in my small city.

Yea, that seems excessive but they don't ask us...lol. I have to be in Montgomery, Al every other week and learned this past week that they are adding several new red light cameras around there, including four new lights around Taylor Rd and Vaughn Rd area. If you know the town, you know they have more and bigger issues there than red light running for sure...and so it goes. :)

Going 17 mph while running a red light is tantamount to speeding. There are some areas when you're going STRAIGHT (not making a turn) where the speed limit is 15 mph.

It is becoming more prevelent here, whether running a red light on a straightaway or on a turn on red light or stop sign. Defensive driving is a must. Frankly, I think you got away cheap.
